I bought my PAM177 off DSN. I was very happy with it but felt things could be better!
I got a super soft leather strap from panatime. Its so comfy and was a good price
I then decided I fancied a stealth look since I wouldn't try and pass my watch as a gen, so why have the branding on it. Many thanks to bricciola for doing the work and for repairing my watch when I dropped it after 10 days of owning it
It is now my "casual" watch and im going to buy a gen oris artelier date in a month or so
Since VAC wants $120 for a unbranded 44mm dial, I decided it was not worth me getting my PAM stealthed up
i found this on ebay and i am very tmepted by it ... ebay link
im not too bothered about having super bright lume, but can anyone suggest why I shouldnt buy this for my 177h?
i want to keep costs down as this is a rep watch after all and im planning on getting a gen Omega in a couple of months
I seem to of subscribed for email notification of new topics started in the general forum. When I go to "My Controls" to cancel it, it says I am not subscribed to anything. I also can not cancel it from the "Gen Discussion" section.
help?
I dont think i will be able to open it up but i will post some pics of the movement a bit later in case anyone can spot what is wrong
my watch will never be subject to mistreatment again!
I have a DSN PAM177h with a ar/swiss 6497 movement. Being a careless fool i managed to drop it when I wa sgetting changed at the gym. It fell about 1foot onto a hard surface. Initially the seconds hand kept moving but when i checked it a few minutes later, it had stopped.
what kind of damaged will i of done and how easy/expensive will it be to fix? I have emailed TRC since he is also UK based
I have only had the watch one week, not even got my new straps for it yet!
sometimes i wish i had spent that
i have a 44mm pam177 and my wrists are a shade over 7". I would say the watch does not look big and i would wear bigger but im not into oversized watches really
you could go to a watch shop and try a watch of that size/shape on and see what you think. Its one thing to measure a watch to your wrist but it can be very different when you wear it. Different styles will give different visual impressions of size when worn
