Hello guys, I would like to know if anyone has ever experienced a time when the supposedly freely moving weight on your automatic watch just suddenly stopped moving? It is happening to me now and the weight on my watch does not move. But after I gave it a little jerk, it moved slightly and then it stayed still again. Does anyone knows why might it happen? I think it is based on the 8500 movement w/ mod to enable the hour hand to be adjusted independently. HN

If the movement your watch has (I assume the second hand is at center) is running on 28,800 bph then it should have the same sweeping motion as a rolex watch. Nevertheless, if it is the rep daytona you're talking about, there has been a problem (and still is) with the second had where it "jumps". It's a known problem with the daytona rep sec @ 6.
