Where's Orchard Road? ; )

Great choice - but do be mindful of the bezel hex bolts. Find a vendor willing to send QC pics.

Finally mounted the white strap .. didn't think I could pull off, but actually really growing on me.
-
Then gen bracelet is a royal PAIN to open/close. Honestly feared breaking on first few attempts (we're talking brute force). The strap's deployant is much easier.

Congrats, AmStaFF. Just wish the factories would correct the silver surround on numerals. I have a hard enough time reading the gen. : (

What is the lume color of a APROO Navy Gen?

Add the Montauk Highway to the list. -
Indeed.

Fellas, just took delivery - camera shots don't do justice for the sea-foam/cerulean blue. It's funny how just looking at it just puts me in a good mood - can't say the same of my Rubberclad and Silver 09 Themes.

The blue isn't near as pronounced in person. If you haven't already, check the release party vid - worth a good laugh. Females @ 7:30 are very easy on eyes. : )

Funny timining of your post - I'm anxiously awating arrival of a gen on Thurs. : )

Perhaps it's already pointed out, but I just noticed the rep hour/min hands are much larger in diameter where they meet the movement. -

If anyone reading this thread is interested in purchasing my rep, shoot me a PM w/offer. I paid $503 shipped from Josh. -

To the untrained eye, the rep looks pretty good - it's not until holding next to the gen when differences become obvious. The gen just has this crazy magic/quality. I doubt anyone would every be called out w/the rep - unless they're offenders as well. Compared to my E-series Rubberclad, the AR on the new 3126 movement is significantly better. Reading the date on the Rubberclad's a PITA. -

Pardon the lousy pics - no thanks to Sony T-10 and overcast conditions. Paper-towel roll wrapped w/a t-shirt served as makeshift prop. Rep, Gen, Gen: Rep - the sub dial rings are not near as pronounced in person: Gen: Rep: Gen: Rep - hex bolts were significantly better seated w/replacement watch: Gen - no complaints: Gen on left; Rep on right - note height due to case-back: Rep - notice the lack of back-plate behind AP: Gen: Rep - strap is noticeably less substantial, but embossing's impressive: Gen: -

Well, compared to my gen G-series Rubber-clad, the AR's significantly better. -

Appreciate the congrats, everyone. Ordered the Masato strap as well - think the red brings a new sportiness. -
Enjoyed the rep enough to get the gen. I'll post side-by-sides this weekend. Per pics, the black luminova indeed glows .. including the numerals.

Replacement arrived. Bezel hex fitment is notably better - although not as perfect as the black/white Themes I've seen posted (see 10:00 and 11:00 hex). One thing to note - under a loupe, several of the grommets below each hex were squished through to the front. From a distance, these appeared as gaps/poor fitment. I was able to trim by tracing around the hex perimeter w/a needle. Overall, a keeper .. but I see a gen in my future.
-
Quick update: I'm still awaiting the replacement ... the original made it back to Josh in a mere 5 days. Will post pics once the new arrives.

Yes - gen .. E-series. Not sure when the change-over was for AR. Strap was impressive .. all corners nicely glued .. uniform shaping around plots .. clean edges, w/consistent stitch spacing .. no issues w/painted sides cracking when bent .. convincing langkawi embossing. With limited exposure to water or sweat, I'd expect a good 2+yrs of wear. I do wish they'd address the clasp holes - hidden on the gen (see arrow).
-
Not sure of wrist size - and I've no ruler @ the moment. I am on the first strap hole on both rep and gen, though.
