    Hate to burst anyones bubble, but i would never buy from "trusty" again. This bait and switch is nothing new. He did it to me on a day date. Paid $300 and he swore he could provide me with an totally updated version rolesor clasp and all. I got a piece of crap shipped from malaysia that broke in a week. Andrew is an [censored] and a thief. I never mentioned it before because i figuered [censored] it its only $300. But the more I read the more [censored] i get. [censored] Andrew.

    I have used Gorilla Glue and it holds up awesome. Like someone already mentioned, it does expand. The trick is to use a very thin layer of it. What I do is put some on a piece of cardboard, then take a pin and dip it into the glue on the cardboard. Then I make about 12 little dots of glue on the bezel groove where the insert sits. It does not look like alot of glue when you are done, but don't worry,its plenty to hold. And the best part is that it does not set up for about 15 minutes, so you have plenty of time to make adjustments.

    I would be upset if my watch came not as advertised. From the pics, i thought andrew had teh best yachtmaster on the market, but now i am not so sure

    Standing at the counter yesterday with my wife when a gentleman of the same generation commented positively on my Bentley GT with the Cafe au Lait colored strap from BOB. He was wearing a Panerai genuine he bought on the "bay" for about $3000. I'm not even minorly versed in Panerai's but it was a white dial with a greenish croc strap. It had a second hand subdial at either 3 or 6 oclock. The watch still dwarfed my Bentley. I still think they look a little strange. The difference between a genuine wearer and a replica wearer? We left and he got into his Porsche Cayenne and we got in our Pontiac Aztek. I wonder if the Chinese make body conversion kits so I could drop an Infinity FX45 shell over it!!!

    I see - not using aspire any more then. I kind of clicked when I saw the 'crazy sale' link on the site...

    Do people actually even receive the watches from him? His prices are RIDICULOUSLY low?

    I know this topic has been covered, but can anyone at least confirm that his watches are legitimate and that you get them?

    There is indeed a trashy version that evolves during the time this thread comes into effect.. i was approached to get "The new version navitimer".. Immediately I relate to that model..

    I clarify and tell you guys to take ruby words for it....

    After that, I was approached by many... I mean many , many would have been in the original group buy plan.... for me to match the price on a individual order basis with paypal option.... Some even fabricated stories that ruby priavtely offer even lower or willl give the strap FOC......I decline every single one of them.

    So whoever you are that thinks that Myself and Andrew is trying to trash or give ruby a hard time, you have mistaken... Ask Ruby, on a personal level, What she thinks about Joshua.

    Jos, Are you able to get me the new navitimer with a "Brushed" band vs. polished band. Ruby wont respond to any of my PM's (i guess because it's past monday and I missed the deadline)... Or she just got the new sears catalog...not sure which..

    use 3m scotch bright. use in straite even strokes the lenght of the bracelet. same procedure for repairing scratches in your brushed bracetet. i've never seen a navi or bently that was brushed instead of polished. if you order one from her tell her you want a extra bracelet incase you don't like it. i ordered leather and ss for mine so i would have the proper deployment buckle for mine when i get a nice leather strap for it.

    How much would an extra leather band cost? out of curiosity?

    i don't know exactly how all the other dealers handle seizers, lost or damaged or poor quality watches. but i know what happened to me. i had 4 watches seized that i ordered from a very popular dealer and had to pay 50% plus shipping to get them resent so 1,000.00 worth of watches ended up costing me 1,563.00. when i mentioned it on rwg1 i was told to suck it up. that was standard procedure and quit complainig because i wasn't dealing with wal-mart.

    ruby guarantees you will receive your item, period. it will be in new undamaged condition and will be the quality she told you it was or she will replace it, period.

    every time i read where somebody has a problem and is trying to get it corrected it's always very popular to tell the person the same thing i was told. what do you expect? you didn't buy from wal-mart bla bla bla.

    she openly states this ploicy in her posts. i haven't seen any other dealer put this in writing as a policy for all customers. some may have this policy but i know for a fact not all do this for all customers because i lost alot of money over this type of thing. these costs will not be incurred buy her customers.

    this is as close to dealing with a normal business with normal business practices as we will ever see in our hobby. for me that is worth the cost of wu for obvious reasons.

    if you have any other questions regarding how she does business send her a e-mail and she will explain it.

    I just sure wish she could do a BRUSHED bracelet instead of a polished bracelet. Those polished bracelets are quite shiny and the brushed look is very nice on these breitlings. Anyone seen a navitimer rep with a brushed bracelet, does it exist?
