And it's a good choice, the TW Chrono is really a beautifull watch !! I have gone to an AD today to try one : it a beauty with the Croc Strap : thick but so smooth @Joshua Do you think about a "croc" or good leather strap instead of ss ?

I like this watch a lot ............. but after the pb i have on my IWC Piortuguese Chrono, i am a little carefull about the new Asian 7750. The real question is : IWC movt is moddified to have sec @ 6. MB is a generic movt with sec @ 9. What is the reliability of the generic 7750 ?

On one side you're right but i can' be agrre with you Richard : i should be ok if this kind of issue were very occasional (not sure of the english word ) but in this case there are to many pb on this movt !!! You are right again when you say that we can use DOA from our dealer. I am in this case : i have bought all my watches from the same (a really good one : Joshua ) but send him back the watch doesn't guaranty me of not having the same pb in 2 month (contrary of ùy 3 PAM with 6497 !!), and to add shipping cost for it ...

I have bought 2 IWC Chrono Domino (for myself and a friend of mine) just when they were available, so in september i think. They are today both out of order and at the watchsmith for diag I also have 3 PAM with 6497 (CN & CH), and all are at the top I'have read all of goods instructions about the new 7750, and always take care of it, but IMO today is that this movt with sec @6 it's really crap and can't be trust for that price (270$)

I don't want to offense you, but you are totaly maniac !!!! I am a PAM lover, own 217, 005 & 009, but i think that only people who have rep and not gen can react like you , wanting teh quality of a gen for a rep price !! If you don't have the gen side by side (and it take several minutes, when you know where to check) you really can't say it's a rep (or you are perhaps 10 people in he world, including you, to see it)

I am like all people who began to wear PAM : 44 is now a normal size for me, and PAM feel so good on the wrist. But for me a PAM must be on a leather strap, not on ss (there so many lovely strap with differents patines..)

I had already PM them when you had presented the SS version, and the answer was : "no we just get a few in SS. but in stock are the limi edition 10micron gold plated" Where your informations comes from ? It's just to find differences. By the way this rep is an amazing rep, one off my favorite. I waer it between 3 and 5 days a week. each time i spoke with a watch lover, he always congrat me about it. Only people who wear rep coudlt see it's a rep !!! @bkdc : what are you doing here my friend. You really need to wear gen if you don't accept any bug

The others differences are : - engraving on adjust button (IWC marking) - center off the caseback is brushed and not polished - the thickness off the bezel is little bit thin on the gen - i'm not sure but the IWC marking on dial semms to be little bit big on gen (1/10 mm)

Unfortunately i think the dial is not a 5218/201A Pre-A panerai from 1993 : cause of the "L swiss L" under the 6. All pics i've seen on 5218/201A haven't anything under the 6. And you're right these were only in a polished SS case. So an unique watch for my eyes only

Thanks Everythingape !! You're right, i have just had a eye on Andrew site and it's one of his 000. The only one pb is the LswissL under the 6. Yes it's a PVD (one ex PAM !!)

Could someone tell me whitch model is this PAM (or just the dial, cause i think it does not exist in PVD) ? The first owner could be an RWG member

In my opinion it should be the 177g. For me there is only this one that has those specs : Titanium W/solid Caseback And 111g Face. The 036 is tobaco dial, no ? Just have a look on Joshua site, you 'll find all the models in titanium.

I am new on this forum, just 3 months !! And it's the first internet forum in wich i became member and have a real interest. You retirement and all the comments that it has generated, really show how people here are passionated and linked between them, even if they are not all aware of it. It's not just a forum where you can get information to buy the best rep cause you don't have the money to buy the gen, it's really a place for passionated watch people (and sure that you know much better about watch, movt, etc.. than people who have gen). So i haven't have the opportunity to work with you, but read you a lot. Thanks for all you have made, and all you will do for the community (and perhaps see you on a GTG in Paris if you come in France) Eric

It's the one i 'am going to offer to my wife for Xmas. Joshua has one of the best model on the market : real ceramic, gen movt. And you are right : it's a quartz model And r11co is right althouth : women don'care about this detail
