  1. Learn something everyday around RWG, thank you for passing your knowledge down to kindergarten class. BTW, are there any threads about people who have had run-ins with this organization? On this site or the others? Is that taboo to talk about?
  2. I don't get the Richemont reference (yeah, I did a search) thanks
  3. Oh well--what a waste of $5!! I'm totally kidding...
  4. A little late on this, but I think that Garfield Lmtd Edition is in 007: "And the Award for Worst Photoshopping goes to..."
  5. I know this sounds bad, but I can't justify the membership cost to post. SORRY. I did donate $5 though to RWG, I'm not a complete freeloader. Plus I like stupid lowballers and scumbags, because I once I recognize them, I can [censored] with them and call them out, maybe even kick thier ass if they get too out of line, with a pure moral superiority to back it up. Unless they pull a gun, then they win. I think I'll take a chance...Law Enforcement has higher priorities here in the big city. Maybe I'll call it a stage prop...hmmm
  6. I knew I was missing something. There's a guy in Japantown (SF) though that has a store that sells all kinds of fake [censored]. His watches are the shittier, cheap reps. He's got LV, Chanel, Coach bags all kinds of stuff.
  7. Seems kind of ironic that he uses the full-on gen company's logo, but uses "xxx" on the ends of text links, I assume to avoid copyright issues. The actual logos seem way more...well you know.
  8. I can't think of any. I'm not going to link to any rep dealers sites, I'll use my own photos. Of course I'm going to be clear about its (un)-authenticity. B&R 92 with date window. "It's an 'homage' watch" Maybe they'll take it down/against the rules. I am bracing myself-- Thanks
  9. That helped me get my watch-browsing itch scratched--thanx for that link
  10. Well, it is based on a real watch after all. Cartier Dragon Watch This watch is off the beaten path around here, but I really like it. I wish there were more photos of the rep for comparison.
  11. Sorry, should have included this: TT's Dragon Cartier After some more fruitless looking around, I've concluded this may only exsists as a rep. Andrew was kind enough to steer me away from it in an email a few minutes ago, sez it's not so hot. He is the only one who has it, as far as I can tell.
  12. Or know where to find pictures of the gen? My sis wants one. Thanks
  13. Kruz...once again...thanks. You found me shamefully hiding my noob question in this subforum.
  14. I'm confused because it has the large hour numbers. My 196 and former 250 lacked these. I want this style dial, dammit! Who has these for sale, ETA? Is this a gen (pic is from The Zigmeister's how-to section)?
  15. That's what I thought...Gotcha, thanks kruz.
  16. Yes, thanks! Were u looking for that too, andy?
  17. Horses held. That's cool...you can just order them! Next year.
  18. I don't quite understand what you mean by that.
  19. Does anyone have a really hi-res close up sharp scan of "L SWISS MADE L"? Does it differ model to model (date of production, older vs. newer) a lot?
  20. The IWC 06 one is bound and big like a book. Pan 05 and 06. Tons of detailed photos. I'm stoked personally regardless, but are they common or hard to come across?
  21. Agreed. I woder when it was designed and released. 70s? 60's? Thor-Just making it that was a big start, even if it needs tweaking--saves time. I am going to get them as close as possible to the real ones using whatever other images I can find. I will pass them along if if anyone wants to get a shirt printed/whatever. JFYI, the text-only one on brandsoftheworld looks like poopie. In my travels, I have aquired all the MLB/NBL logos on CD (the one the NBL gives companies that are doing design work) Any baseball fans that want an exact vector file in CMYK or PMS of thier team, lmk.
  22. In vector format. I saw it floating around the site somewhere, can't find it now. Thanks
