I have one (in fact I'm wearing it today) and it's a very nice piece. I notice they've come down in price since theyr first were out a few months ago. They also come in 3 dial versions with Russian movement.
The main downside is a mediocre pilot style strap, so you'll probably want to replace that.

In a similar thread somewhere else (all these boards are getting confusing) Joe recommended getting one of those eyeglass repair kits. I grabbed one from the drug store for a couple bucks. It came with 3 or 4 different sized small screws. I fit one where I lost my crown guard screw and it worked. Granted, it doesn't look exactly like the original screw (if someone's anal enough to want to examine it with a loupe) but it worked and i applied locktite. Nice easy solution. Thanks Joe!

On the diver watch forums, they indicate that the Nauticfish is made by the same people and is basically the same watch. It can often be found for a bit cheaper.

Hi:
Could you explain the comment about the dots with no metal rings. I've just looked at a couple pix of genuine 024s and their dial markers look the same (with rings). What am I missing?

I love this Seahawk II. I owned a vintage Seahawk and it was a really nice timepiece. While i agree with you that this would be nice to rep, I wouldn't want to see it as a cheap rep. The case and bezel are fantastic.

That really looks great. Some of the pictures on German's website aren't so hot and don't put their straps in the best light so to speak. You should send them this pic.
