  1. Hi guys!

I'm thinking about ordering one myself, COndemore's pictures are killing me!!! The same happened with a Skyland thread he posted with awesome pics!!

Does anyone know how close this one is to the GEN? Can anyone post a picture of the GEN, I just can't find any...

    Thanks!

Stunning watch, beautiful dial, centered Datewheel, suberb and alligned rehaut engraving, but a fantasy watch. If you are looking for an accurate DJ II, there is only the white and black dial with sticks (markers) version. The blue and the grey with arabic kobalt numerals are wrong color. Blue dial s a sunburst dial, not plain blue color. Grey one is too shiny.

Got one for me, too, but you won't find the real deal. Only thing is, to put ghis one in a fluted bezel case, or go for a platinum. The platinum DD and DJ are available with the flat/domed bezel. Clasp engraving is not so crisp as my gen DJ, and a little misprinted.

All together a steal for the money, but go for the ETA version. It has a much better reliabilty, and is smoother when you wind it.

Bought mine at kingwatch, and service and price were great.

    Best, J

  2. Thank you for not crapping the thread. Regarding your tip:

Buy the watch for € 3.320, add 20% VAT and a little customs fee, and you will be at approx € 4.060.

As stated, there could be a solution for the crystal. But of course it's always up to the client...

I think that it is a reasonable price. There are pieces for less, and pieces for € 5.000.

    Best, J

  3. My friend, I guarantee you: there is no SS!

As plaifender said: it's time for a new case/watch.

Had the same thing with a 6263 daytona in 2003 - these were hard to get, but investing a high amount of money without any guarantee that it will last....forget and release...

    Hard, but true....

    Good luck, and don't despite!

  4. Hi, had a similar problem some years ago. My advice is to forget it, since the costs are incredibly high. You have to remove the old plating, prepare it chemically for a new chrome plating, and so on...

The costs were around €150 - 200... :whistling:

But as I said: some years ago...

  5. @ joerg: Seeing the background, Looks like there is almost no snow anymore, isn't it ? :whistling:

    Xel :bleh:

This is, because the pic is three weeks old, and I wanted to test my tapatalk app - but for you mate, tomorrow I will post a 3000m snow wristy :thumbsupsmileyanim:
