  1. hmmmmmmmmm should someone wait for the PERFECT Seadweller... why you wait? It is available for $5.000 at your local AD maybe this new seadweller is not 100% perfect (which rep is it?) but it is MILES better as the older models... and i am very happy that this new seadweller is on market. I am going for this... should anytime a BETTER version available on market... ok than sell my Seadweller and go for the updated version. Or should i wait for the 100% perfect Replica?... ohhhhhh sorry i have not time to wait some more years this rep is good enough for me
  2. Angus (Pure Time) has the ultimative version... ask him!
  3. swiss base - asian overwork it is not 100% swiss...but it is more swiss than all other movements.
  4. i am sure Angus will come with the best version... let
  5. it is available... at your local AD i think this new SD looks better as the actual models very nice thicker bezel (an not the SUB bezel)... but where is the ETA stamp on movement?
  6. thank you for your comments guys i think your only problem is... that
  7. 177H titan case saphir AR OEM genuine alligator XXL strap Yog hand painted dial Flavor Flav relume work thick PALP crown higher cannion pin fixed SWISS 6497-1 (latest like Davidsen)
  8. @Pug it is good for the brands... but bad for customers and collectors.
  9. @kruzer yes Panerai has now in-house movements... this movements are very faulty and cost 3-4 times more as ETA models so i think... it is very sad that brands going for in-house movements... gens are very expensive now and will go more expensive with in-house movements.
  10. ETA prices rise up every day... 6 month ago valjoux 7750 factory price was 160euro... today you can sell hundrets of them to China, Russia for 380euro. I have many request. last week get a email from US watch brand "KOBOLD watch instruments" for asking me of some hundrets ETA 2893-2 movements. They can
  11. thank you Pug your help is welcome i am planing 44-46mm... so go for 45mm?... and yes 22mm lugs
  12. engraving and finish comes later... it takes 12-14 weeks for ebauch
  13. good choice but no blue hands... i prefer black hands. Blue hands look nice on classic watches... but not blue + luminova
  14. ok update 44- 45mm and 22mm lugs... i think this is the best version. But it is not the last word... all is possible. limited edition 001/200... 199/200... first 50pieces will be with special movements (20 swan neck, 20 skleton, 10 hand engraved)... other 150pieces with ETA Unitas 6497-1 decorated. thickness should be 13mm... this is thick enough... 14-15mm thickness is to much for this movement and a big hole inside of case... on thru caseback looks bad. the engraving of 001/200... 199/200... should be on caseback or on side of case? Or on lugs? any more opinions please...
  15. my biggest problem is the lug size all pilot watches (46-47mm) use 22mm lugs... but i am interested in 24mm lugs? 24/22mm straps are very nice... but it is good for a pilot watch? Will a 44-45mm pilot watch looks good with 24mm lugs? Maybe it is to big and 22mm lugs look better?
  16. i am planing to build my own pilot watch. I have the first offer from factory and it is a BIG MONEY projekt. It will be a limited edition of 200-300 pieces first... i need you opinions. I am not sure about the case and the dial + hands watch will be with: sapphire double side AR coating mineral glass caseback black enamel dial superluminova 150 pieces with this movement ETA Unitas 6497-1 (other 50 with higher decorated or hand made movements): factory told me best is to build it in 46mm diameter and 24mm lugs size. But i am thinking about 44mm and 22mm lugs size. 46mm is way to big and 44mm could use from all people... and 44mm is big enough for all? 24mm lugs size is nice for thicker 24mm straps. But pilot watches have all 46-47mm diameter and only 22mm lugs size? thickness should be 12-13mm. 14-15mm is to big for this movement... you will see a big place on thru caseback (who saw the new thick Steinh*rt case knows what i mean) also thinking about the dial design. Should i use IWC 5002 design (like Steinh*rt do) or IWC 5004 design? hands in black or blue? with my logo and name on dial... or a dial without branding like 30
