msm1 is an absolute joke. I'm subscribed to the RG thread and have been following it daily. I've NEVER seen anyone so flaky and untrustworthy in my life.

How sad does a person have to be to get banned from a forum and keep coming back? I've only been banned once in my life and it was from a Cleveland Browns forum...after my first post haha.

Tag Heuer does make PVD watches, just not very many. Don't recall ever seeing a PVD rep though. You won't get a Breitling with a display back as Breitling don't make one, try a Tag Aquaracer calibre ceramic 16 chrono for that however Tag don't do PVD
I have a stainless steel Super on a pearl white dial utterly awesome watch totally indistinguishable from gen

My new Franken smp for a Sunday morning...
Nice!
This guy now, switching to CrPO later:

Yeah, the amount of money sunk into just one gen watch used to (and still does, to an extent) bother me tremendously. I started out in the watch world with "affordable" gen watches then moved slowly to higher value pieces (some Breitlings, Omegas, etc) and just could not be comfortable with wearing and potentially damaging a $3000 watch. My 5513 brings me much more pleasure to wear than any other gen I have owned, partly becuase my last gen was a Red Sub and it really bothererd me to wear a watch that was worth more than my car.
Sold most of the gens and bought cheaper watches and reps. Still have quite a few gens but I enjoy a $300 rep just as much, and probably even more since I don't worry about them so much. The mid-range watch industry has gone mad and been successful to date, but I think a market correction is not too far away for them.

Don't let my situation worry you - I was just venting about the usps...I don't think this is a customs I issue since the package hasn't made it that far.Now you're scaring.......I have my replacement shipped via LA this time.......
Tracking shows from Malaysia to LA, processed through International Sorting Center, then nothing else for a week. No indication that it was turned over to customs. Aggravating because it shouldn't take more than a few days to travel from California to Ohio.
-
Now seven days at L.A. ISC. Hasn't even moved to customs. Aggravating sh!t.I have a watch coming from Malaysia to Ohio which has been stuck at the Los Angeles ISC. Tracking says "processed through ISC" for the last five days...not even any mention of customs. Was shipped as registered parcel. Starting to get on my nerves.

The noob uses an A2836, without a day window. Other factories may use the 2824 or Miyota movements.I think for this model the a2824 is better the difference is a2836 is a date-day and a2824 is only date!
Cheers

Pink Floyd "High Hopes" from Pulse disc 1.

Cheap rep which was run over by a riding mower, sucked up by a tornado, then stored in a POW's rectum for 5yrs.
Research first, then buy. Even if it was only $20, nobody wants to just [censored] away money.

I sometimes use a dental pick on bracelets with tight confines. Even a push pin has been able to remove spring bars in a pinch. Just grab the shoulder of the spring bar and pull it away from the lug hole (carefully).

The Omega section has been pretty sleepy lately. Noob CrPO on Omega rubber (rep deployant) and the original bracelet:
-
Only one thing to do...buy all of them! This is how they are selling watches at GW HQ here in Seattle...
Hard to see what's stuffed in the middle.
-
Err...that's a modern homage to the original, which is what's described in the article.

Picked up a $10 UV flashlight at the hardware store and directed it at my CrPO:
-
A2836 movement.I consider to pick one!Can you tell me if the bracelet and the bezel are well made? And is that a2824 or a2836?
Thanks
Bracelet is excellent with screw links and a well-engraved clasp. It is very comfortable, as long as your wrist isn't an odd size. Some Omega bracelets are difficult to fit well, unless a combination of full and half links dials you in. This is not a fault of the reps but rather Omega's design.
Bezel action is smooth and the insert looks nice, with an excellent pearl. The surface on my current CrPO is a tad bit shinier than my last example but it looks good.
