Thanks, T!

To me you look VIP, too... you sure it hasn't worked? Maybe clean your browser cookies and reload the site?
-
Maybe another gen... and perhaps another AP ROO and a nice modded BR03-92, if I find one.
-
I'm wondering if the noob crystals from Submariner and GMT II are the same. Looks like that - how about the cyclops position and mag?
Thanks,
Whatever

No doubt changing to a clicking bezel would indeed require changing the retaining ring.
I'm still trying to find out IF a gen size retaining ring can even be fitted into this Noob case.
I doubt it... if it does, it will require a lot of modification. The noob cases don't have the exact dimensions of the genuine. I'd love to see the "perfect" GMT II rep, too - but for now I think the Transformer is the best there is and we have to live with the non-clicking bezel. It's better to accept that than to put loads of money in it for a gen bezel construction imo... better go with a gen crown and tube and a gen bezel insert.

That looks fantastic, mate!
I have to admit I don't really get how you did it... I suppose you sanded the CB from the downside as you would have damaged the engraving otherwise. But how did the thread stay intact? Can you explain how you did this a little more, please? Sorry if I'm just dumb...

Hey Val, how's it going?
My keepers are the ones in my signature - that's all the watches I have atm...
-
My guess: 111e and probably 176I are gen.
The 005 and 111J have Little Hero CGs... I'm pretty sure about that. The 111J might be a complete LH build.
Well, I wouldn't be too surprised if I'm completely wrong - they all look great!
-
OK, I re-calculated... actually I'm out about 500 euros. Still it's not too bad.
My watchbox has 12 places and it's full now. I won't buy another box or a bigger one... whenever I buy a new watch I will sell one from my current collection. That makes it a lot tougher...
12 watches is more than enough, there are even 3 or 4 I almost never wear...
-
I'm an IT consultant, too and I have been asked about one of my watches only once (my PAM... just because it's big, I guess...). I mostly wear my PAM and my SMP at work, no Rolex and no too expensive looking watch.
But the main point is: No one notices anyway. Wear what you like!

Merry Christmas from Germany. VERY white Christmas here... lots of snow, pretty unusual for a December!
-
Thanks, mate!

I am thinking about a gen crown, too. Which one is the right one? And do I also need a new tube then?
Thanks,
W.

Vintage this morning:
But after I got my new AP ROO Black Themes today, it's glued to my wrist. Didn't have the time to take a photo yet though.

Thanks Sixx, the pleasure is all mine mate!
The Tag was a Carrera Chrono. The only watch I owned gen and rep (the rep is mighty good!). Sold it on a German gen forum but I had it listed here, too.
-
Yes, for some watches I was able to recoup exactly what I paid for them, even the shipping charges. If the watch is modded or special in any way you will always find a buyer and usually you get the price you ask for. The RWG marketplace is just great.
-
I think I lost around 400 euros overall. That's not too bad for being able to examine all those watches in person me thinks... and other hobbies are expensive, too...
-
Yes
The way out of the cycle is to chuck your 112 out of the window
(let me know when)
LOL.... I will Andy. But don't sit by the phone... ;-)

I just made up a list of all the watches I bought and sold again in 2010... it's a bit scary, I think I'm addicted...
Anyway, I needed to see all those watches in person to get to the collection I now have. I'm pretty satisfied atm and I think 2011 will be much calmer... maybe 2 or 3 new reps. As my watchbox is full now (12 seats) I will have to sell one of my actual watches if I want a new one - that makes it harder, lol. Imagine I would have bought all the gens to find out they're not for me...
I learned a lot here during this year - RWG is my favourite watch forum, rep and gen!
Here's the list (with reasons for selling), enjoy:
- B&R 03-92 - Had issues + not good enough

- Longines Hydroconquest Chrono - Got it in a trade, didn't wear it
- Ceramic Sub - Just wanted to take a look at it, prefer my WM9 V2

- Anonimo Chronoscopio Chrono - Too big for me
- GMT IIc - Didn't wear it, Still, if an updated model comes out I'll be in for one again

That's the spirit, Andy!
Very nice, Nanuq! I'll do my best to follow your advice...

Vintage day...

If you're afraid to damage the insert, you could buy a cheap aftermarket insert and practice with that one. The dimensions should be the same?!
It's worth it, the gen inserts are great! Here's mine again...

Navitimer again today... it's a classic, I love it! It's so different from my other favourite watch (PAM 112), but I like them both equally.![:thumbsupsmileyanim:](https://rwg.cc/datastore/emoticons/emoticons/default_thumbsupsmileyanim.gif)
