I don't wear the watches for anyone else but me. I happily let people know they are a rep. But I guess I'm just one of those people who like the rep for the quality of the product and likeness to the gen. I dunno, I just like them to match the gen in everyway and when I see a flaw, it really stands out for me - no one else! Guess that's just me.
I know what you mean, it's exactly the same for me. I don't care about anyone identifying my watch as a rep, I don't try to pass them off as gen anyway. Still, I hate those little imperfections on our reps. If I had the funds, I'd buy the gens of all my favourite watches, but as I haven't... well, I guess I'll have to live with those little flaws.

I'm pretty satisfied with my V2 - I doubt anyone can tell it's a rep without examining it really closely. That's enough for me - I really don't care about fraction of mm differences in crown positions...

How long do you wait for TRANSFORMER delivery from BK?
Thx! Got the Transformer from Redwatch, not from BK directly. Due to customs issues here he shipped it to the UK first where a nice scottish member passed it on to me. It was worth the wait. At first I considered selling the gen bezel insert but after comparing it to the rep one I have to say it really makes a huge difference!

as a lot of people asked me to show some pics of my little Rolex collection recently... here we go! Unfortunately the photos were all taken in artificial light (it's winter here and pretty dark...). I will take better ones if the weather decides to improve.
First of all, the groupshot:
Starring: DSSD v5 with BK datewheel and Vac-lume, BK WM9 v2 Sub with ofrei pearl, BK Transformer GMT II with genuine Pepsi bezel insert (thx to Redwatch!).

I thought it must be possible, it's the same watch after all. But after close inspection I am not so sure anymore. Ist it possible or is the watch head different / modified, too? Has anyone done it (or vice versa)?

How about BKs Transformer GMT II? Will it take a gen or a clark crystal?

By the way, the AR on my gen SMP is barely visible - if visible at all... so it's probably OK if the replacement crystals have very weak AR.

OK, I'll try to polish it out at first. There's a German guy on eBay who sells diamond paste sets especially for sapphire glasses. I'm curious...
If it doesn't work, I'll give Krysworks a try. Thanks for the tip!

I've got the gen, too and the AR is indeed barely visible. Not better than on the rep I had.
By the way - I need a replacement crystal for mine (2531.80.00). Gen or aftermarket, depends on the price. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I've been searching cousins UK and I think I found aftermarket crystals there but no gens.

Only the insert is gen, bezel is BK's transformer. I got it all as a package from another member. If you still want to know what I paid for it drop me a PM.
