I hope your watch brings you years of joy .. but I have to ask .. you can't stand the dial print of the V5 but you have no trouble with the huge SEL gaps, too-large dial marker rims, protruding HEV, incorrect case back and as you mentioned the bubble pearl of this one you bought?
Again, as long you YOU like your watch, that's all that matters. I am simply asking how you can overlook these glaring faults but have been so vocal about dial print.
I have ordered the cartel one as well - choosing between the two I'd rather go with the one that's got the dial print straight! - I wouldn't trust a QC procedure where such a major fault can pass without them noticing
That being said I might order the V5 when there's a V5.59 with a straight dial
IMHO any retard will spot the faulty dial print but it would take closer inspection to see the issues with the JADS

LOL day-date - didn't even see that before posting.
I'll tell him it's a steal at $1500

Offered as a genuine 1985 Navitimer with pilot bracelet. I say no. How about you?
-
somebody's got the sickness
whatever you do, don't go anywhere near the pams
deltatahoe
Oh I'm badly hit by the sickness
I found this mysterious yellow chunk of metal in the parcel
(Rubbish pics by mobile phone as usual)
This is the best rep I have EVER seen.
I have handled the gen several times in the past and I cannot find one single flaw on this amazing piece.
Sweet Sister Sadie - best watch in the collection - This is
just amazing
Bezel marker looks funny in this pic. Just a reflection of the wall
-
Oups. There's a parcel for me at the post office.
I wonder what that might be

TrustyTime? I think Josh, Trusy, Hont and others have their Ultimate version. Then Eurotimez has their V5.
I would like to get a Eurotimez V5, but they need to get straight print on their dials...they can't seem to get that right.
Maybe I get a Euro, swap the dial with mine...should be golden then...haha...franken it to some extent.
Dial looks excellent. They've certainly come a long way

Would hont's upgraded DSSD be the same TT is offering?
-
-
Anyway I guess only REALLY cool people wear a no CG rollie
-
Somebody please explain (pictorially would be nice) to me what is meant by the 10 being evenly spaced on the bezel.
+1

Looks good, thogaa! I think it's just about ready for a dodgy eBay listing!

I love that strap
Hirsch Rallye 20mm
-
Hard to tell but I do not see a date window @ 6, so it might not be a Chrono-matic 49.
Maybe it's a rep Chronomatic
-
The whole DSSD alphabet soup thing is really getting confusing. I'm glad I decided to buy and get out of the game at the V5 "upgraded" exit so I can put up with it's shortcomings and enjoy life!
I ordered the $368 Ult-Ver one from TT so I'm looking forward to check it out

Ultimate, supreme, V5, V5.2, best, perfect, improved, 1:1 waterproofed to 50m...
-
I wonder how much they charge for that?
-
This movement is a modded Asian ETA copy. It is not really a copy of the 3135. This has been covered several times in the last two weeks.
Thanks. And I suppose the remaining watch is a V5.34287?
-
PS @ thogaa- Yep, should be COSC.
Point taken
-
Timed to....
COCS.. can never remember the correct full wording.. anyone ??
COCS Cost of Community Services (fiscal impact analyses)
COCS Conference on Organizational Computing Systems (ACM)
COCS City of College Station (Texas)
COCS Centro de Operações do Comando Supremo (Supreme Commander Operations Center, Brazil)
COCS Council of Overseas Chinese Services, Inc (New York, NY)
