11 views and still no answers. I have asked a couple of times on the Breitling forum but to no avail. Is there something I am missing or do people genuinely just not know the contact details of HK Tan or where I can buy one of their straps or any other similar style straps. I find that hard to believe as everyone posts photos of their watches on HK Tan and other custom straps. Thanks for any help anyone can give.

Could someone please either tell me here or PM me HK Tans contact details. If not are there any other leather straps with suppliers details that someone can recommend that would suit a Breitling Skyland Avenger Black Steel. I have tried asking but not really has much response. I have checked the strap suplliers towards the bottom of the threads but nonse seem suitable for this watch. I'd appreciate anyones response.

My Skyland BS V2 with an Asian 7750 28800 movement for no reason today began clicking and clacking with every movement I make. I have had it for 4 months now so it is not that old. I believe it is a loose rotor, it sounds like it is hitting the case. First of all are their likely to be any secondary efects to this and how can I go about fixing this? Can I remove the back somehow and tighten up the rotor? I am based in the south of England if anyone can recommend somewhere I can have it serviced. I am sorry I always have a question and never an answer on this forum but I don't have a huge amount of valid knowledge in this field! Thanks to anyone who can help.

I have very limited experience but I would say that is a V2. The dots, numbers and pushers are the same as my V2 that I recently received from Andrew at Trusty. As for the sub dial hands, I can not compare as mine is a PVD Ultimate.

Ok I have had a read - very informative. How about this bit of my original post: 'Is it quite safe to set the time and turn the screw or is there risk of it sheering off? The 'screw' (time and date changer) is a screw tight one, is it quite safe to screw it tight? ' Ultimately, as I appreciate these are replicas, is the movement pretty strong like any other watch, can it be used every day and are there any other physical handling characteristics require, like being ultra sensitive with the screw otherwise it will break? By this I mean more so than any watch in general. I appreciate it is a small spindle of metal, it will of course break if you miss treat it. Thanks in advance.

I understand there are certain ways to set the date to avoid breaking the mechanism. Is that correct? Is it quite safe to set the time and turn the screw or is there risk of it sheering off? I have just bought my first watch with it (a Skyland Avenger ultimate from Trusty) and so far it is great, it moves smoothly and I have set the time and date with no problems. I just don't want to break the bugger and so want to know its limitations. If anyone has the time to answer/ explain to me or point me in the right direction of where to look I'd really appreciate that. Cheers.

If you are UK based plan on about 2.5-4 weeks.

Ah good man, I was going to ask how others were doing - 28 days and nothing for me, it's ridiculous. It's a little parcel and requires someone to drive it to the airport, sign it off, put it in a trolley, push it to an aircraft that links it with a major hub to the UK, then put it on one of the 15 aircraft that leave for the UK a day. That at the very least would get it to the UK and would help me believe the thing exists.

Except for the small problem that they haven't managed to deliver any of the packages that caused the Christmas craziness. EMS is dreadful.

I have an almost identical situation to the original poster - sent out via EMS on the 2nd Dec from a very 'trusty' dealer and it has said 'left origin country' ever since. It's very annoying. Very annoying. regardless of delays it SHOULDN'T take this long, it really shouldn't. I had another parcel arrive recently and once into the UK, it took 2 days to arrive here. It's the EMS side that's the problem. 7-12 working days my @rse.

Yeah I thought ordering on the 02-12-09 would be pretty safe to receive it by Christmas for the same reason from Trusty. I don't feel it is Trustywatchguy that is at fault.given that it is almost 2010 I think 20 days is much too long to have to wait to receive something. I guess I am just excited about receiveing the Black Steel skyland avenger! EXCITING!

And still nothing received. Ordered on the 2nd Dec from Trustywatchguy to the UK. EMS doesn't seem very good, they take forever to get things over here. It shouldn't take this long regardless of Christmas surely!?!? It is a non stop flight!

I am in the same boat, it left origin country 4 days ago and nothing since. Is the above post for real? Is a customs seizure likely?

Is that a general downside to the V2 or is it possibly that you had an above average V1 and below average V2? It's just I have ordered a V2 Black Steel 'Ultimate'!

What makes this watch a limited edition. I believe the watch is a V2. The price seems a fair bit more for this compare to other V2s. Why? It's a beautiful looking watch, I must say. Thanks.
