  1. Agreed. That's why I didn't do so. My words were very clear: "...don't defend his unethical business practice proven here. That would only serve to put your character in question..." Didn't say he was defending the unethical business practice of stealing another dealer's photos: was indicating that doing so would put the defender's character in question. It was friendly advice from my POV. I know that such is encouraged here, and I appreciate the friendly banter and open minds...even those of people more inclined to buy from a dealer who engages in such practices.
  2. Since that dealer is stealing Josh's pics, as is clearly evident with this one, where do you draw the line? Obviously, for you, it is at the pricepoint. That's fine. You can make that call. But don't defend his unethical business practice proven here. That would only serve to put your character in question, as well. I gave that other site the benefit of the doubt when looking at his watches online. I had no reason to doubt the dealer. Now I do; I won't buy from him. I'm glad I bought my first rep here via Josh just weeks ago.
  3. Absolutely so in my case on a delivery yesterday. I just received an EMS package that had a USPS "global express mail" label added to it, clearly indicating JFK as the origination point in the USPS system.
  4. I placed my first order, since joining RWG, with Josh just before Xmas. It shipped from China Dec 20 EMS, then tracking just stuck on departing China from Dec 21 until yesterday. Then it popped up on tracking as arriving JFK evening of Jan 4. No indication of any customs submission or release in US. Package arrived Washington DC postal facility at 7 am today, Jan 6, and was delivered at 11:30 am. No complaints with 16 days and 2 holidays in between order and receipt. Thanks Josh. Appreciate you making it easy. PS - i'm in NYC on business and haven't seen the watch yet, that's why no comments on quality and satisfaction.
  5. Is there a "best method" to prep and treat a brand new bracelet (rolex presidential)? I've read various things here: (1) spray with WD40, then clean (2) use a dry lube (3) use some kind of wax, like car wax I have searched but haven't found a recommended tutorial or a thread. Thanks for any help you can offer. Merry Christmas.
  6. I just joined this month. I bought my first rep today: (1) following advice I've read this past week here; (2) from a dealer here; (3) having read a By-Tor review here. I feel indebted already (but I'll know for sure when my watch arrives - lol). I'll contribute as soon as I can. And thanks for offering this community of common interests.
  7. I dunno who Wheaton26 is, but I know who I am. He not be me. ;-)
  8. Class of December '09 here. Too new to know any better.
