  1. General QC, I mean if they want more business they need to look after their customers, and make sure that what they are providing is value for money and everything is as it should be, everything works correctly etc. IMHO they should all have a pressure tester and test the supposedly water proofed watches themselves before sending them! Obviously QC is to their advantage because they will end up with a [censored] off customer, and have to sort the problem out.

Anyway there are some good dealers out there who obviously understand that looking after customers will get them repeat business. Personally I can only vouch for 1 "dealer" which is Josh, he's been top notch with me with my previous purchases, and I will be ordering from him again in the future. My other reps are from other forum members so far.

Well the other dealer non watch dealer though is KB he's a top bloke too, got a few things off him so far and just getting some more at the moment. Had a slight issue with 1 item, but it wasn't his fault as it was shipped directly from the supplier so I got it quicker (what with the CNY n all). He's sorted that out now without a problem.

  2. Sorry the shots were taken with my iphone! So they are pretty crap quality, but you get the idea... the lume seems to change colour, sometimes its more cyan blue, then other times its darker blue, one thing is the lume certainly fades pretty quick! You can see the hour markers but not the hands after a few minutes!

I think a re-lume with superlume would make this model almost perfect :-) ^^ loving it.

  3. Yeah I didn't even notice the 10 was slightly offcentre until someone on another thread pointed it out, now it just stands out at ya. :-( the new bezel will sort it mate I feel your pain.

I think it looks great! The bezel insert looks awesome. I just bought the Ultimate from Joshua about 2 weeks ago and then he comes out with the new bezel insert with the 10 fixed on it on a new version....made me quite angry...but I ordered the new bezel insert and hope to do a good job replacing it on my own...I'm scared! :wounded1: I get it in a week.

Wear it well...I love this watch but that 10 on my bezel insert is killing me even though nobody else except this site will know... :drinks:

  4. Sorry mate this is the "Ultimate" V5 all singing all dancing Swiss ETA version with the new improved grade steel, with corrected 10 and non crooked dial, only thing I can see wrong with it is that the "blue" lume is not true blue, but that can be fixed and would want it relumed anyway so it stays very bright for hours not the usual 30 mins.

Im confused ... the cartel dealers sell the v5 now? And why would it need to be modded? It always had the perfect bezel .. the "Ultimate" DSSD has the bad bezel.

Lastly, if the cartel sells the v5 now, have they finally sold all the bad crooked printed dials and come to fresh batch of perfect dials?

  5. Thanks mate I would really appreciate that. Yeah my Mrs is the same likes them minimalist without all the bling bling. :-)

    kamber,

If I have a spare clasp end link, I'll send it your way. I will have to check the spares though.

As for ladies watches... Errrr, there aren't too many that I keep current on, mostly because the vast majority have CZs on them or other frilly stuff. Mrs. Ubi is a minimalist when it comes to watches, so she likes plain, simple SS or ceramic, no 'diamonds' or bling. For the time being she's content with her J12, and I'm currently building her TW Best ladies DJ into a franken...

In the past, she's tried the 40mm PAMs:

Just a bit too big and top heavy for her liking though. None the less, that might also be a nice option :)

  6. Ubi, Yeah :-( I don't have spares yet, so i did the next best thing, it was the square end link that snapped when it got wedged when i tried to put the link back together, so i've super glued it, very carefully and it seems to be ok, only a very very small noticeable hairline crack on one part noticable and thats if you take it off and are looking for it. Hopefully it'll hold and the whole watch won't drop off her wrist, else the whole thing will probably shatter :-(

No. 2 there is IDENTICAL to where ours snapped!!!!

What other ladies watches do you recommend mate?

    Yep... Ceramic breaks!

Mrs. Ubi can attest to that!

    J12 #1:

    :wounded1:

    J12 #2:

    :black_eye:

Thankfully we have spares and spares of our spares!

  7. I love screws, the Rolex was so lovely to resize, unscrew, gentle pull happy days, glides back in screw it in and sorted!

These have funny pins i had to drill a hole in my pin pusher to allow the fat end of the pin to pass through the pin pushers gap!, Do you have the 33mm Quartz version?

That's weird, mine has all screws for resizing?!? Not a pin anywhere that I know of!

    Sixx :bones:
