  1. If I am not mistaken Narikaa used to have 5517s with a more accurate (slimmer) case with fixed lugs (not just tubes) and a 5517 engraving between the lugs.
  2. Thanks all. 450 is indeed quite pricey ... But nevertheless ... Anything to keep the Missus happy I have been looking around who might be selling the MBK PAM 049. It appears that Reg (Narikaa) can get them put none of the other dealers seem to have them. Am I right ?
  3. Hi guys, wifey lost her beloved 051 the other day. According to TT they are not being made anymore by any factory. Would anyone happen to know a source for one of those ? Best, D.
  4. Hi, I lost the pearl from my DSSD and have been looking for a replacement for quite some time. Even considered replacing it with an hour marker from a submariner dial ... Does anyone know if there are is a source for DSSD pearls or does anybody have one or even a complete bezel insert ? Thanks D.
  5. Hi, I wore my DSSD while sailing and obviously the mechanical stress (i.a.w banging the watch against several different parts of the boat) ripped off both the pearl on the bezel and the coronet on the clasp. Is anyone aware of a source for replacement for either of the two parts. The DSSD is a V4 bought from Chris. Best D.
  6. Hi, until a few days ago I was a happy camper with my GMT II Prohunter (A J21). Until then I was able to adjust the GMT hand by turning the crown in the opposite direction when it was in the date-set position. But now suddenly it doesn't move anymore ... everything else is working just fine. Does anybody have an idea what may cause this ? Best D.
  7. Hi, thanks a lot for the answer. And I was wondering why I wasn't able to find a gen Now I know. Yes, the Tudor seems to be a good option indeed. I will monitor the bay and other places for a good and reasonably priced one. Tnx again D. Please forgive me for lurking and asking stupid questions for now ... I am learning ...
  8. Hi, I can't convince the missus to wear anything even close to 40 mm although I think big watches look great on her. So now I am looking into the possibility to get her a Sub Lady (Seen that Narikaa has a few). Does anybody have a thought on quality and accuracy ? D.
