  1. My question was aimed at the obvious straight line in the chronopushers and crown. For me, if I see a straight line in that, it is 99% sure a rep. So in that case I wondered, why wear a AP? Since I really want an AP but am a bit hesitatefull.

But thanks for the input and pictures, you convinced me to get an AP, I think I start with a AP Diver, and then later on a sec@12 or should I just start with a sec@12?

  2. Friends, I want a AP ROO, but since for me it is so easy to spot gen and rep AP ROO, I was wondering what the opinions and experiences are :)

Also, if I want a sec@12 what is the most important thing? Let the movement be serviced right away? Also, I saw some AP with big pushers instead of the normal chrono pushers, would these pushers be on 1 straight line with the crown? I Believe it was the Ruben Barachello

  3. Hi all,

For some time I have been wondering, why do people wear a rep AP ROO? It is so obvious to spot the fakes, due to the chronopushers and crown. The first thing I look at when I see is the chronopushers and crown line.

How do you feel about this? Has anyone ever spotted your rep AP ROO?

  4. I trade in Montblanc, I can supply you gen Montblanc with considerable discount.

Once in a while I also have rep Montblanc pens but they sell very quickly here.

    PM for gen Montblancs

For rep Montblanc have a look in the Other items section

  5. It is really complicated. I've send out emails to some dealers to see if they can supply the V2 crystal. Josh said he can't.

King is contacting the factory to see if it is possible, and other dealers have yet to reply.

The V2 crystal is probably the easiest and safest solution, if all hope fails and the V2 crystal won't be able to supply we would just have to go for the 288 crystal I guess.

  6. I voted Jacob Cohen, handmade Italian jeans. Quite expensive but the feel and fit is jsut superb.

All the buttons & rivets are made of silver and even come with a Silver polish kit to (as the package says) polish your precious buttons and rivets.

    :victory:

  7. Guys, I got an reply on RWI mentionig the following:

Mine was redone with the 28.9 and I have had no issues whatsoever. When I did one in 28.8 I wound up with water seepage under pressure. While the 28.8 would probably suffice for showering/swimming if one were to dive off a 3m diving board I'm pretty sure there would be water in the watch.

Setting the 28.9 was a snap with a press. The 28.8 went in with finger pressure. Bit too loose IMO

So this makes me wonder, is our measurement of 28.8 incorrect? Opinions please :)
