  1. I think he means how far does the arrow point, when fully charged, mine hits just past the 4 on the PR measure
  2. I am glad you found my post helpful, nice pictures too, thanks for sharing! Good to see DSN is flattening the crown pins now, maybe it needs a little bit of a cape cod polish though, seems to have a brushed finish? Sweet looking strap, enjoy your new watch!
  3. Yeah, I can't justify that purchase to myself, just for the bracelet, although it would also look nice on my ICE Bang, apparently the factory has a PVD/ceramic and gold plate/ceramic bracelets too! Shame the factory do not let the ceramic bracelet sell for $95 or so, I don't think they realise they would sell loads of them if they did, and make a tidy profit The actual PWC HBB watch itself is not really that nice, no decent AR, stickers on the rotor, with a low beat movement. Tricky to sell on just for a bracelet.....
  4. Nice, very nice, did PWC sell the bracelet on its own? How much was it?
  5. Well based on my observations with my avitt DLC coated blacksteel, which has yet to pick up a scratch, and the rep V2 version which scratched up on the clasp and case after a couple of days, I would say there are varying qualities in the coatings used, whatever they may actually be It is interesting that the twins list the V2 blacksteel Skyland differently: Perfect clones: "Blacken Surface Treatment to same shade and tone as Genuine....Antidust and Finger Print, Same Process as Genuine" Trustytime: "Blackened Surface Treatment to same shade and tone as genuine (Anti Dust & Finger Print) - Process similar to genuine" Make of that what you will Either way, I am sure the PVD coatings used in replicas will always scratch up faster than the coatings the genuine watches use, it will be no different for this Ferrari replica, even if the some dealers say it is exactly the same process, and others do not..... Cheers!
  6. Probably PVD, I doubt all of the dealers DLC claims after having avitt's true DLC coating on a couple of my watches The pink may be red, this dealer's pictures are rubbish as usual.....
  7. Thanks very much Bricciola, your work is top class as always! Cheers Ubi, but really Bricciola did all the hard work, the easy part is just wearing it! It certainly a watch that catches a lot of peoples attention, it's fun watching all the double takes
  8. The WM9 Rolex replica watches use an ETA movement, which already has a date wheel installed of course, then there is a date overlay glued to the date wheel, so it has the right font and is aligned correctly. Domi simply removed the existing WM9 date overlay, and used the gen date disc as the overlay instead Thanks JohnCraig, there is a list forming now! However, I really doubt I will ever sell the watch, it is insanely accurate now thanks to the gen disc
  9. Sweet watch! I don't have any Tag watches, but I feel this one fits the bill. Probably my next purchase
  10. Fantastic work, makes a big difference! Now if only somebody would produce that style of plate in volume.....
  11. No worries, this is from my update: "The crown fits OK, the lever touches, but does not push in that much, if at all. Although I do think it sits well, slightly away from the case (just like the gen picture I posted). When pulled out the crown just touches the inside of the crown guard, but it works perfectly fine" So the crown does "feather" touch the inside of the CG, but it causes no problems, and makes no marks/noise when turned EDIT: Have a look for yourself! In fact, the way I have measured out the crown stem, I don't think it touches at all! It is very, very close and maybe it gently brushes the CG sometimes, but it feels totally free when the crown is turned
  12. Thanks dluddy, it has finally been removed from my wrist though, as my WM9 Yactmaster is back in the house!
  13. Well, here is an update to my WM9 Yachtmaster I managed to trade my genuine vintage style Rolex date wheel (see above, large serif font), for a genuine modern Rolex date wheel! Here it is installed on my Yachtmaster, keep clicking to expand! What do you guys think? I am really happy with the results, Domi did a great job installing it, the date is square and centered on every day! It has the tiny serif edge to the numerals now, a small but significant difference! Cheers!
  14. Nice watch, I think this strap would work really well with that dial http://apbands.com/shop/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=APBANDSSAMPLE4&Category_Code=SAMPLES&Product_Count=0 Great price too! Easy to tone down a little with some leather oil I tweaked the picture a little, I hope you don't mind!
  15. Yeah, it has closed 6's and 9's, sorry, I don't have a photo, but there should be lots of posts of the YM9 Rolex's on the forums to peak at Have you tried ebay? http://jewelry.shop.ebay.com/Watches-/14324/i.html?_nkw=3135&_catref=1&_fln=1&_trksid=p3286.c0.m282 Cheers!
  16. Thanks, I am glad you like my wrist shots! You will not be disappointed with the watch, buy a decent strap and a T48 crown and you are set! Maybe flatten the CG pin a little bit too of course
  17. I have a WM9 date overlay (no teeth), it is new and used in the WM9 Yachtmasters. You can have it for $20 plus postage costs (what I paid), PM me if you are interested
  18. Have a peak here: http://www.repgeek.com/forumdisplay.php?f=77 "T" sells them in his section, you would need a T48 PVD steel crown, with 0.9mm stem size
  19. Looks great, congrats on your new purchase! The crown guard on this looks good, the pin is actually quite flat (even the gen has a slight bump). Maybe a PVD T48 crown will finish the watch off nicely
  20. Here is a picture from Puretimes website: I imagine you could probably buy a new second hand from your dealer
  21. Great review, nice pictures too! It seems the second hand flaw has been fixed already, check the dealer sites, they updated their pictures
