  1. Shame, they really screwed up with the dial then, double sided tape for the hour markers? Might be a blessing in disguise though, maybe they will be easily removed, for a nice bit of lume work I wonder if genuine dials can be sourced from somewhere? I have my doubts though......
  2. I am the same, any marks on the dial can kill off a watch for me, unless I can clean them off somehow..... @ the suit compare, maybe you just described a few of our rep dealers there?
  3. I am sure that in the coming months this very same watch will be shown here on RWG in a very different light My eyesight is like an eagle like when it comes to dial/hand marks, I have really good "close" vision, so those kind of specs would stick out like a sore thumb for me It seems the thought of this rep arriving, was a greater excitement for me than it's actual arrival, I guess I am spoilt what with all the exceptional Breitlings we have been seeing of late.... And you are right, they can do great steel bracelets and rubber straps, but throw in a bit of leather or some stitching, and they lose the plot Cheers!
  4. Thanks for the pictures Lani, great stuff! In regards to the watch, it seems to be quite poor in terms of QC, with a very dusty dial, and slightly off lume markers, what with the reported faults in the other TG's, that is not so good..... Overall I am not convinced this rep is worthy of the high $500+ price, sorry. Certainly the materials used and the AR are very nice, but the fit/quality of the strap and the poor dial just puts me off. If I was going to drop that kind of sum, those issues would have to be resolved first..... Saying that though, I am sure a thorough cleaning of the dial and a new strap, with a trip to The Zigmeister thrown in, would certainly end up leaving you with a really, really accurate super rep! Wear it well and in good health!
  5. Nice PAM, and a very good "first buy" PAM to start off your collection with My own personal taste in regards to the strap would be for a thinner strap (6.5" wrist too ) with a dark brown colour to compliment the titanium finish, darker dial PAMS Wear it well, cheers!
  6. Copied and pasted from somewhere else though most times
  7. Damn, sorry to hear that Get that IWC replaced, or maybe the dealer can pay for service/regulation? For $500 with a standard A7750 configuration, I would expect a well running watch.... Cheers!
  8. Thanks for the picture Chad, any chance of a "front on" shot of the dial please? I am sure there are a few peeps who want to check out the hour markers I hope the movement issues totally disappear for you, nothing worse than having to ship back a duff watch. Still for the price the watch would have to be ticking like a champ from the get go for me...... Cheers!
  9. Don't even consider buying from him, unless you want to wait till hell freezes over for you to actually get a watch Do not be fooled by his photo editing skills, steer well clear.....
  10. Your title needs one of these: "?" For more info...... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Question_mark
  11. Fantastic shots as ever Lani! I will have a WM9 SeaDweller and Yachtmaster in my collection, it's just a matter of time
  12. That was a sweet watch, I was sorry to see her go.... Glad you like it though, although we never left each other feedback for that sale, will do so now
  13. You need to have a look at this thread here: http://www.rwg.cc/members/trio-Skylands-t89971.html I have a 6.5" wrist, and the Skyland wears fine, even the new Seawolf too Cheers!
  14. Looks fantastic, wear it well! Nothing beats a genuine Breitling leather strap, such good quality
  15. Damn, too pricey for me for a A7750 based watch. Ceramic is not an expensive material, if It was $100 less I might have ordered..... I look forward to seeing a review from you soon though PAM1A
  16. Looks great, correct day/date font and hopefully titanium pushers and case back? I wonder if they will have straight hour markers on this new batch?
  17. Great write up and review! Looks like a sweet watch for sure
  18. No, it was and still is a POS movement just waiting to become a paperweight...... Cheers!
  19. I think you are right, the coffee dial catches they eye for sure
