  1. Well when you say that "every part looks different" and "the flaws are very obvious", you have basically said the watch looks nothing like the original.... Bearing in mind the Euromariner is one of the best Subs available, asking why you are bothering with this hobby is a valid question. After all, with your post it clearly seemed as if only a genuine would ever be good enough for you..... There is a big difference between being "picky" and saying everything on the watch is obviously flawed Cheers!
  2. I imagine they will use the case from the above rep, but use a better dial/hands... At least they are trying to create a better dial, from the info they have on their site: Should be a really nice replica, or you could always do a dial/hands swap with the watch King and Paul are selling
  3. There was and still is a rep that had the correct thin case and U crown, it also used a 2892 movement like the WM9 project (for the thinner case). However it had a bad mis-match regarding the dial and hands lume and was well overpriced, for what everyone knew was an Asian 2892 clone.... King still has it listed here: http://www.kingshowbox.com/goods.php?id=480 Paul also has it lised: http://www.pam111.com/product_info.php?cPa...roducts_id=2240 As you can see it has the thinner case, and poor lume..... Trusty and co had this watch for over $550 before they removed it due to the ETA movement issue... Cheers!
  4. All of these new Skyland V1's with fixed lume dots at 3 have messy lume elsewhere, just like the V2's. At least that is how it seems from all the dealer pictures I have seen, or been sent.... One step forward, two steps back
  5. Shame, the bezel cut looks better/crisper, and so does the pearl... EDIT: Actually they both are listed as: 43mm x 16.5mm
  6. What about the case size? Could you drop the old SFSO dial + movement into the case?
  7. Sounds good! I am sure some pictures would be most welcome, pins instead of screws! I can see a few peeps upgrading there old bracelets now.....
  8. Sweet! Great work as always! Good to see you are back up and running, so to speak, after your eye issues too
  9. Thanks for the info I think I will stick to the gen SS bracelet though....

Yes the Rolex coronet is positioned higher in the first picture, and then lower in the second

The watch parts I sold came straight from DW himself, the pushers are correct and as they should be, they are asymmetrical to the crown, the lower pusher being further away from the crown than the top pusher.... If you open the case back you will see the "mystery movement", (which I think is loosely based on the V23) and is 100% working and keeping good time.... Cheers!
  12. It is a classic beauty (the original) that is for sure It seems the logo is a pretty big error, I am a bit disappointed that they messed that up so bad..... Looks like the old version is still the one to get, I really hope they have not ceased production, for all you guys yet to buy one! I have looked for a rubber strap, just as a different option to the SS bracelet, but I can only find Planet Ocean versions, nothing for a classic Seamaster. Do the Planet Ocean rubber straps have "Planet Ocean" on them? Or just Seamaster? Cheers!
  13. I think it is fine, I did a similar thing with my gen Omega. I was not 100% sure and stated as such in the post, but got a good trade/cash offer for it and took the deal, the seller has the right to sell, or not..... My exact comment in my post was: "PM me with any offers or trade ideas, although I must say I am in no rush to trade this watch, and I may withdraw this if I have a change of heart" Cheers!
  14. I was wondering, is there a rubber strap option for this watch? (genuine) I don't remember seeing any pictures of one on the boards, but it would solve the bracelet issue.....
  15. It wears just a bit smaller than a Skyland, at least to me it feels/looks that way....
  16. Do you mean the hands? If so the slightly orange hands from the previous replica are acceptable, as some of the genuine SMP's had the same slightly orange coloured subdial hands too
  17. Here is my franken SMP chronograph After reading the thread and seeing all the pictures, this watch has found my wrist again!
  18. Look at the lume markers, they are a different style and have been removed at 3, 6, 9 and 12, also see that "Seamaster" is red and the "Omega" is raised silver logo..... This is a replica of the new Omega SMP, the replica you (and I) have is of the old (now discontinued Omega) SMP chronograph... Cheers!
  19. The bracelet is the weakest part of the watch by a very long way (at least the previous version was) It is in no way a good replication of the gen bracelet (which I have on my franken)..... The rep bracelet is the wrong thickness, has a really bad general quality finish, and screws, not pins! It feels really cheap, unlike the gen....
  20. The display back on that HBB looks to be PVD, not ceramic. It has the tell tail signs of PVD coated SS, as you can see the circular swirl marks..... If that is the true, then it is not a full ceramic case @ jj69: You may want to edit your posts quote, so it does not include the picture
