Genuine Schwarz Etienne Chrono Prestige
Mickey Padge replied to Mickey Padge's topic in Other Brands Area
The little hang tag with the original box and papers says €2000! However I think you can get these for maybe €1200 new, if you are lucky and can find one, however mine is also a limited edition (see 09/40 on the case) I can't remember what I paid, but it was probably in the €1000 region or less.... You can't really see it from the photos, but the bracelet is all individual links, and of very high quality indeed Cheers! -
If the V1 Skyland was Josh's project, it would make a lot of sense, and be in his best interest, to let other dealers sell it. After all it is not the best version and it clearly needs all possible outlets of sale, to help shift the stock... However imagine if the V1 Skyland had been absolutely 100% perfect and the best version, I think it would be safe to assume in that instance it would not have been available for other dealers to sell, at least for a while anyway.... Cheers!

Here is a quick picture of the display back, showing the nice finish on the Swiss 7750.... Cheers! -
I have here a genuine Schwarz Etienne Chrono Prestige, with decorated 7750 and display back. It is a really nice watch with a gloss black dial and matt subdials, nice and simple, but stunning watch..... The watch never had any AR, and so the dial was hidden under lots of glare and reflections on the sapphire crystal, only one way to fix that, double AR! Thank you very much Jakub (K2222) for your superb service, highly recommended by me, it transforms watches! I will let the pictures do the talking, click to expand, super high resolution I tried to get a bit of AR reflection in a picture, but it was quite hard, the reflections are really tricky to photograph! The main reflections you can see here are from the gloss black dial, not the crystal.... All pictures were taken right at my window, with daylight pouring in Comments and observations welcome..... Cheers!

Good luck with your search Got to call it a night, it is 3AM here!

Ah, but does it have sharp edges like most rep Rolex bracelets? The SSD bracelet is actually very nice
-
No problem, happy to help! You should do what I did with my SSD, get the CG's trimmed and if you can, install a gen Rolex bezel/pearl, makes a world of difference
-
Well I would not risk buying from a site I know nothing about for a start..... Plus if this was a better SD, why have we not seen it from our known dealers? Also in the photos you can't really see the bezel thickness from that angle, I thought the V2 SSD had a nice thick bezel like the gen? The helium valve looks way to dark too and perhaps the biggest flaw, the date window looks way too big and too far to the right... Cheers!
-
Don't buy from them, that is not a place you want to buy from..... Pick up a Super Sea Dweller from one of our on site dealers..... Like here: http://www.silix-prime.com/product.asp?id=1889 Or here: http://www.puretimewatch.com/index.php?productID=276 There are many others dealers to select from, so stay away from scam sites or unknown quantities, why risk it when there is absolutely no need to? The links I provided you are for the best Sea Dweller you can buy at this time, it is not perfect (what rep is), but there are none better... Cheers!

I Want a Breitling Box For My Super Avenger.....
Mickey Padge replied to Hung Well's topic in The Breitling Area
Yes, I bet all the art work and paintings in his apartment are straight and true As for watch boxes, I have never seen the point myself, I keep all my watches in a nice wooden padded watch box, much easier to deal with -
Interesting, no PVD parts at all? Shame that the rotor engraving looks so bad on the cheaper version, it would be better off without that...... Are there any new full ceramic HBB's coming? Dealer Angus (Puretime) says there are a few new ones on the way, and that prices have come right down too! Cheers!
-
Is it even full ceramic, or just part PVD and part ceramic? I would love to know exactly what HBB watch it totally 100% ceramic, case, bezel and case back etc..... Cheers!
-
I can't believe nobody has mentioned the V2 Breitling Skyland Probably the best replica released at the moment, and only $280-310 delivered..... Not my watch, but I took the pictures, click to expand: Cheers!
-
That is the exact same custom HBB I would love to make! Really nice work, how much did it set you back in total? Can you iist what parts were ordered and how it was all put together please? Cheers!
-
What a beauty! I have one just like it too, but mine is with the SS bezel

Why would anyone sell a -
Easier to show you
-
I just used a small springbar tool like normal, no issues at all Could it be I have a smaller tool? Maybe size matters after all?
-
Not bad at all Emperor Penguin, not bad at all Is it 100% ceramic, or are parts PVD still?
-
It is coming from my opinion, nothing more I think this watch should have a 22mm bracelet, non tapered, maybe that would look better proportioned? That Tag watch looks really nice, something it does not have in common with the Deepsea

Need Opinion QUICK... Tudor Prince Date Chrono for $1400
Mickey Padge replied to a topic in The Rolex Area
If I had the cash spare, I would buy it in a heartbeat -
Ken was just posting what the original seller was telling him. Ken also posted it would be best for somebody to buy a single club to check the claims too.... Read whatever you like into my posts. I was simply asking if you ever used the clubs, and why you never got round to posting pictures like you said you would, I was genuinely interested to see what they looked like.... Did you sell them on? I would like to think you either got some use out of them, or at least got some of the cash back..... You seem to assume the worst in people slay, even when it is not there..... Cheers!
-
Hehe, your making up quotes for me now? I said I would buy one club and get my pro golfer brother to check if they were authentic Even Ken was saying it was best for somebody to buy one club first, just to see what they were like... You never did post pictures of the clubs either, did you ever use them?...... In the same way I would not drop $1000's blind on a set of golf clubs, I would also not splash out $1000's on a HBB replica, genuine ceramic bezel or not Cheers! EDIT: No need to get aggressive slay, or threaten anyone either. I was not angry at you in that thread, or now, just suprised you splashed out so much cash on the clubs, especially as you had been dead against it in the TRC thread..
