  1. Good info Seadweller4000, I agree with you
  2. The only issue with PVD is, one scratch and then what? It is clear it is a replica to one and all That is the only thing that puts me off the PVD coated HBB's..... If this pans out to be true all ceramic and scratchproof to boot, then it is a great find
  3. His prices on the new AP secs@12 is the same as the on board dealers here. Also his HBB sale states this: "Stainless steel case and bezel with black PVD coating" I might add that one of our on board dealers watchmark: http://www.timeshops.net has great prices on HBB's. Don't forget there are different factory versions.... Looks like this seller you have found is using the highest quality ceramic HBB replica pictures, but most likley sending out a different factory version, full steel PVD..... Also what if your watch is taken by customs, or has a problem? Our dealers here are supurb at dealing with issues like that, for the most part, if you chose the right one Why don't you drop $405 on a HBB, I would love to be proved wrong!
  4. Good to know my friend, I am sure there will be a watch, not too far down the road, where I will take you up on your excellent offer Cheers!
  5. Great review Tribal! I will be getting one of these for sure, I will just have to wait until the high beat movement can be installed before delivery though..... If I tried to install it, I would just destroy the watch lol I will keep an eye out for when you offer this with the high beat movement
  6. Wow that is a new one! I imagine the whole case is scratch proof, unlike the PVD version, one sratch and it is clear it is a replica.... It might be worth double checking with the dealer to confirm it is 100% ceramic, also where did you see the price listed? Cheers!
  7. Same watch, secs@12. Just the lighting of the photograph. Mind you the price is listed as $455?!
  8. Angus (Puretime) has uploaded some really nice, high resolution photos to his site. Also his price is the same as the other dealers......
  9. Have a peak here to find out! http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=76248&hl=
  10. Can't tell with the crappy dealer pictures, I somehow doubt they could screw that up, but you never know
  11. Sorry, more of a nightmare! That is one fugly watch, each to his own I suppose
  12. Full description: "The First Ever AP ROO Chrono made with Non Symmetrical Subdial positioning as per the Genuine and Running Secs @ 12 MOVEMENT: Asia 7750 Automatic Working Chronograph Movt (28,800bph) with working regulator (Secs running at 12:00) CASE DIAMETER: 42mm THICKNESS: 15.5mm DIAL COLOR: Checkered White Dial , Grey Subdials, Lume Numeral Markers CASE MATERIAL: Solid Stainless Steel 316L BRACELET: Solid Stainless Steel 316L (Insignia Deployant Clasp, Triple locking feature) FRONT GLASS: Sapphire BACK GLASS: Solid SS Case Back with insignia BEZEL: HACK MOVEMENT: Yes CLASP TYPE: Deployant Buckle with insignia DATE INDICATOR: At 3:00 (Mag Crystal Mounted on Dial same way like Gen)"
  13. Could just be the new high beat movement with functional regulator, Which you may remember from such watches as, Chopard GT XL, black and silver dial, and the new Concord C1.....
  14. Thanks guys, really appreciate the input So I assume the full white dial is the best bet then,in terms of accuracy? Can the date font be fixed with an ETA DW upgrade? Or does the genuine use a non-standard font, like the Breitlings do? Cheers!
  15. It has been mentioned, but not explained.... What is wrong with the date wheel? Colour, font, size? I have no point of reference because I know nothing about the genuine article..... Just assume I am a noob (not far wrong )
  16. I may get one, but in about 6 months or so Where are our AP experts to list all the issues and faults with the watch? Come on, it's your time to shine!
  17. What is wrong with the watches then? (aside from the price tag ) Rather than just say it is wrong here or there, could you please explain why too? Sorry, but I am ignorant when it comes to AP watches, so I can't see the flaws you are saying are there.....
  18. Good to know, is it the HBB maker who also produces these?
  19. This is a pretty cool scene from Snatch, this thread and forum reminded me of it
  20. I agree with you 100% Like copy protection on PC games, just makes life hard for the peeps that buy the game (causing various errors etc..), but not those that just hack it anyway.....
  21. Why not contact the UK site I posted? You need to look within the UK..... http://www.wolfarmouries.co.uk/airsoft/bb/...ct&id=P99CM
  22. The guns are weak power really, not like an air rifle, certainly no self-defense value. They could break the skin at a foot away maybe. Or injure an eye like you say, but the law was fine as it was, just a kneejerk reaction from our government.....
  23. Same exact reason I purchased mine to be honest, Lucky I got in before October last year.... However I have moved house and no longer have a garden What is funny is that they have killed airsoft with this law really, the point of running round in the woods in camouflage is ruined if you have to have a dayglow luminous gun!
  24. Quote: "The law governing the sale, importation & manufacture of Airsoft guns and Replica Immitation Firearms (RIFs) in the UK changed on Monday 1st October 2007. As part of the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006(VCRA), in order to purchase any RIF you will need to prove you are a airsoft player or skirmisher. To do this you will need to be on the United Kingdom Airsoft Retailers Association (UKARA) player database" http://www.wolfarmouries.co.uk/airsoft/bb/...ge=airsoftshop2
  25. Not to bad, takes the lower power gas, but overall it looks good. I think you may have issues getting it through customs though. Unless they paint it bright green or something I am willing to part with all the guns in my photo, aside from the Wildcat
