DSN hands.

Yeah, thats what I told him. Watch is useless to me in that condition. He told me that the blue coating is very fragile. "Regarding the hands you must know that I have a handpress made of plastic, normaly you can not damage anything but the blue color is coated in the nano range thats why it is ultra sensitive." We´ll see whats happening. What should I do, what can I do?

After seeing the work performed by this modder One can easily think that ge knows what he is doing. Got an initially response now. He tells me that this easily happens on these type of hands??!?

You can clearly see the damage. I sent him two email last night. So I will wait a couple of days. I post some pics later on, when we see how this develops.

Ok, so I just got back a watch from a well known re-luming modder. However, when inspecting the watch the hands are damaged. The hands were brand new and had never been installed before sending them to the modder. (hands where bought here on the forum by a well known member). I have emailed the re-luming modder but havent got an answer. What to do? I have quite a large sum invested in this watch. And to my knowledge these hands are no longer available. What would you guys have done? Advice is really needed here Case closed.

Hi! Yeah, I know them to be metallic like. However, I rather have painted ones than flaking ones:)

Ok, just bought a PAM192. It has the flaking hands problem. How can I solve this? Anybody still source them? Or is it just re-painting them that remains? Regards Robert

Update. Got word from Andy. So far he located the following; 1, the fine regulation screw had fallen out into the movement 2, the dial had moved and was pressing on the seconds hand 3, the regulator arm is catching on the beat arm circle making regulation difficult

He has been online today, but still ignoring my emails and the PP claim Oh well, wrote him a mail telling him to enjoy my 250 bucks. And that I see it as a investment to warn others... A little bit surprised to see that he still is a VIP though. But that might just be me

Fingerprints or some kind of smudging over the seconds. Second hand is bent. Dont really know what has happened to the watch. I guess a lot of things can go wrong if you pack it like crap...

Yeah, I really not think that I will get anything from that guy. However it was worth a try. Once again Im out of clues as to what a person would do for $250...

Thanks for all the replies. However, I have the feeling that Nikos1978 have had his disputes and claims on his PP account before, cause he told me to file a claim before even trying to solve the matter. Oh well, I´ll just have to wait and see what happens.
