Thanks Andy. But wont the filing cause the CG lever to not sit flush? Isnt there a better CG to buy that snaps?

Ok, so I bought a modified ultimate 088 from a fellow member. However I find the CG and the lever a little sad. I dont have the snap that I got on a few other PAMS. This is whats on it right now: (Picture borrowed from seller, let me know if it aint ok "M") Is there anything better to buy for it to have the snappy feeling?

As many already said. Toss it away, and never look back for it. Get a BoB or look at Panatime.com It´ll wear much better on one of those as well. Good luck mate.

Had the same problem to my first CP. But my defects were on the opposite side of the crown. Think you will have a hard time cause you OK:d the QC pics. But good luck anyways.

Got my highly modded PAM088 today. Need some advice on straps for it Post your best advice. Lets get crackin

So, I got my diver back from Uwe today. And I can only say wow, wow, wow... On a scale from 1-5 this is my experience with dealing with Uwe. Mailcorrespondence before sending it (5) Comment: I dont think I would have put up myself with all of my mails Returntime (5) Comment: Took Uwe just over one week to modify and return my precious Diver. Result (5+) Comment: Lume is excellent, AR is out of this world stunning, DW cyclop WHAT A IMPROVEMENT, Sunken screws OH YEAH!!!, stiffened the inner bezelclicks no more toy feeling. Allthough I wont be using it. Pricing (5) Comment: Sure you can get a decent rep for the same money. However, Its money well spent IMHO. Overall experience (5++) Comment: I will send Uwe some of my other watches for sure. He has the ability to change mediocre reps into a stunning keepers. Great comms all the way through the process. All thumbs up to you Uwe! Wanna see some pics? Well OK. TA-10 & 88 is standard rep AR:d. AR that most of the times passes for great for rep AR.

I do know there is a risk with this watches, however a brief comment before return shipping or even when the watch was open would be appriciated. (Like mentioned above). Things seems to look a little brighter after all. Hoping that this gets sorted. /R
