lovin' the nato strap on the gmt-one...
i have a question... eurotime told me that 5512 and 5513 does have versions with 3 6 9 dial...
now i got a doubt cuz i was so sure that the 3/6/9 dial was mounted on military subz and 6200s... is that right?
btw..talkin' bout eurotime's mbks.... du u think that it's better in accuracy the 5512 or the 5513 with this dial (5513 matt one)http://www.eurotimez.com/page65/page93/page224/page350/page350.html ?
Shadow, take your pick. IMO neither one is more accurate than the other. 5512's are a bit more rare in the gen world.

Great job R! It's very satisfying to do it yourself.

They look great T!
Sign me up for a few when you have them ready for sale.

5513 back on a bracelet today
McQueen day tomorrow

Nice results Tribal!
I had a gen SL pearl that The Zigmeister literally could not drill out from the back at all -it was rock hard, so I'll give the varnish a try. I hear the Ofrei pearls are easier to work with.

The pictures I see for Andrew's (ETA/Asian) 1655 today show a different bezel font (sans serif?) than most pics shown here before.
Can anybody please comment on that?!
TP, stock and parts change a lot with the factories and often the photos are old. The catch with drop shipping is you don't know 100% what you're going to get.
For the dealers that drop ship I hear you can ask for them to have it hand first and send you some photos before shipping.

Wearing the wifie's watch today for something different -I have to say the Radiomir case is growing on me.

Great shot Freddy and a classic piece!
I'm back to the Exp II again for today
-
Freddy, I guess it can't hurt to see what the reply and costs are, very interesting (with cautious optimism).

As usual Jojo! -Enjoy!

The aged tritium/white dial combi looks wonderful!
Thanks Scoobs!
Ahhh, that -
Congrats BT!

Maybe Ruby or River.
-
That's a beauty.
The tritium dial looks great on a white ExpII!
How old is that watch?
Thank you BT, its from 1991. I thought it was a quite a find with the patina and 16550 style thick font bezel.
A funny story; I passed on a white ExpII back in the early 90's and bought my gen GMTII instead. That GMTII is now long gone but here I am with a newly purchased neovintage white ExpII some 15 years later -go figure! .

Yup, have to agree! a white dial is my favorite for a 16570. I take mine with a splash of cream .
