  1. date window is in the wrong (eta) position, as is the cyclops this case is a bit of a mess
  2. SD crystal is thicker and has no cyclops, so that is not it
  3. I recently picked up a pile of used crystals. Most are NON-AR 1.8mm 25-295c crystals with LEC. One of the crystals is an AR 25-295c, i dont know what it is exactly called by rolex but it is a 1.8mm crystal. Here is an interesting one I have also and want to know what it is and model it fits......it is same dimensions in circumference, like 30.4 29.5 but it is 2.0mm thick, much like older 2.0 non LEC crystals but this has LEC and it has AR cyclops. It may not make a big difference as the 0.2 thickness goes BUT what is interesting is the side profile of the beveled edge is slightly different. I need to take pics when I get a chance.
  4. Look at this gen rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=338583
  5. Its close enough bro....you may need a gen !
  6. I just installed a tc dwo v4 on a SD for a friend, and wanted to share the pics of the alignment with you folks. This dwo is really amazing, the glossy raised print looks great. It centers well, though the dial needed a very slight shift to the left for it to be perfect in my opinion. In the pics the date may look a bit high in the window, but the SD has no Cyclops and the shadows in the date window can make it look that way, including left and right shifted based on lighting. and a lume shot for you lume freaks
  7. The date mag is ever so slightly less I think on the clark Really close though
  8. The 16610 sub is the most popular model and it seems everyone has a TC sub these days. The one thing that I like to do is to swap a gen crystal. I recently purchased a Clark crystal to try it out as the previous clark crystal was 2.0mm which is not gen spec anymore for the modern sub. This new version is 1.8mm. That means you can replace a gen crystal or a TC crystal and the height of the crystal will be the same afterwards. The edges of the glass are well polished. The date mag appears excellent, not overly magnified. Clarity is great. Cyclops is applied well and level and is in the correct position. I think this is a good alternative to the gen style subs where the rep LEC is too pronounced or there are other concerns about the rep crystal. Nothing beats a gen but this is real close. I tried to label the pics, clark crystal is set to date 24, gen is set to 28, gen is always on the left with 2 crystals in the picture. To keep things fair, both crystals are mounted on the same gasket which happens to be a 2.7mm gasket in this case. The date mags are really close. For those who dont know, Clark is a respected seller on ebay, I have no relation to the seller http://stores.ebay.com/clarkwatchparts/
  9. Gen bezel may fit, it may not, too much variation may make it impossible to fit it on the tc retainer. If you can get both bezel and crystal retainer as a combo, you can fit them both as a pair.
  10. Big step backwards but it is what it is for those wondering gen AR on a TC sub (same sub before crystal swap and dial swap)
  11. So I found this under the tree this year, someone must have seen me browsing the EH site. I had the first Everest Band - sold it because I was not using it much. I felt it had a few issues. This new version is better for sure. It is now Swiss made and has some upgrades. Here is the packaging, comes with a warranty card with owners name on it The last gen product was a bit short, and I had to use my links and it looked a bit off. The new one comes with DLC links, nice touch. Much better than the competition which has to be cut I think. The strap feels softer and smoother. I recall the last gen using 1.8mm spring bars which were supplied. Now the OEM 2.0 bars are used. Install is a breeze, though there is a card in the packaging suggesting the AD do it. I guess there are folks who go to the AD to size their straps So it goes on my 16610 Here are a few pics installed See how nice it looks with the black links... And of course a few wristies.... For those who want a nice rubber strap on their sports watch this is worth checking out
  12. Ingelero, The crystal does have LEC ....see pic below
  13. not sure the bezel should be polished? i dont think that st bezel looks right
  14. Bro, that watch is such a POS canal street rep, just buy any new LV version and you will be light years ahead. That is not even an LV, just the regular 16610 with a green insert
  15. did rolex make oyster straps where the screws dont go all the way through ? notice how the links have no holes on the one side for the screws to penetrate ?
  16. just see how the dwo is aligned when you get it, go from there. When I tried using it, I could not get it to center well, I think it is because the numbers are just a tad left justified
  17. The back of the dial looks like a regular tc dial, in fact glue was too much, it is not like a gen dial which has eta feet, not at all
  18. just noticed the LEC is visible here
  19. You guys are good It is one of TC original cases with the rehaut engraving, though I shaved it off, it is a v serial case has a gen spec tube - GEN crown GEN crystal GEN insert KH dial, BK dwo V3 strap with v4 clasp, v2 divers link fwiw Bezel is a TC just happens to be one that has deeper teeth that usual (probably factory defect) and actually gen insert snaps in easily (a bit too easily)
  20. Thanks guys, what are the tells you can see, I am curious....
  21. Here are a few pics of my new 16610, enjoy
