  1. I recently contacted a trusted dealer about obtaining a V3, here is his reply: "The AP V3.. It is very badly flawed.. bad Hexagon holes on the bezel and bad lume application on the inner bezel.. I am not selling this unless it is sorted out by the maker... Also the maker lied about the watch being superlume.. It is never superlume.. There will be a much better one coming soon.... I suggest you wait for that .." Any thoughts?
  2. Hey guys, I just recieved my new pam 328 in the mail. I took the bracelet off to clean and lube it but in the process, one of the release buttons decided it wanted to shoot across the room. This is my first pam and I had no idea the button was not secured to the body. I was able to find the spring but no luck finding the button. Does anyone know where I can find this small button? I have looked everywhere with no luck. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
  3. Already sent him an email, hopefully will hear from him soon. Here is a video I took of the rotor while I was at the watchstore and had the case back off. http://www.blip.tv/file/4905051
  4. Coudlnt get the caseback off with the duct tape trick, so I went to a local watchstore to have them open it up for me. Upon opening it, we noticed that the rotor did not move very freely. We were able to rotate the watch and have to give it a little shake for the rotor to fall back down. The auto winding gears were engaging properly, but the rotor movement was stiff. Being that the store did not have very much experience in automatic movements, I had them close it back up. Any ideas as to what would cause the rotor to be stiff? I don't really know of any shops around here that would be able to service the watch. I'm hoping I dont have to send it back to the dealer.
  5. Hey Guys, I recieved my 5th gen PO with eta 2824-2 movement earlier this week. I have noticed that over the last couple days, the watch will stop running even while being on the watch winder. If I manually wind the watch, it will start running again, but it seems as though the watch will not auto wind. Any ideas as to what it could be? I am planning on opening up the caseback after work today to see if the rotor engages the auto wind mechanism. I really hope I don't have to send it back to the dealer as I don't want to risk losing the watch. Edit: I just picked up the watch and noticed it had stopped running even though the winder was rotating. I gave the watch a good shake and it started running again. Seems as though the auto wind is actually working. The other thing I noticed is that, everytime the watch stops, the second hand stops in the same position (2 clicks past the 5 marker) at around the same hour and minute position (about 11:40pm).
  6. Recieved a BK Sub today, so this is what I will be wearing out. Happy New Year guys(and gals)! Excuse the crappy iphone pic.

  8. Thanks for the offer, but I'm looking to keep the watch as original as possible. I guess I'll have to contact some dealers to see if they can source the right bracelet for me.
  9. Hey guys, I've had my Noobfactory Explorer II for a little while now and I wear it daily. The bracelet is starting to show some signs of wear. I have tried brushing it and it helped quite a bit, but I'd like to just replace the bracelet all together. I have purchased a couple different aftermarket bracelets but havn't had any luck with them fitting the watch. All of the SEL bracelets I have tried seem to be slightly off, not allowing the spring bar to set. I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction in locating a bracelet that will fit my watch. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
  10. Hey Guys, Just wanted to see what you guys were doing as far as getting your reps serviced. Are most of you finding a local rep friendly watchsmith or are you sending them out to someone on the forum? I've had my Noobfactory Explorer II for about 8 months now and am thinking about getting it serviced. The watch is supposed to have the ETA 2836 movement in it, I purchased it from Josh at PC, so I trust that it is actually in there. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Side note: If anyone knows of a rep friendly watchsmith in Orlando, FL, please PM me.
  11. QC = Quality Control Most reputable dealers will provide you with pics of the actual watch you will recieve before shipping for your approval.
  12. Hey Guys, Been lurking on this forum for awhile now, was on RG but somehow my account no longer lets me view the forum over there. New to this forum but not to reps. Looking forward to expanding my collection of time pieces and "living" on this forum for a while.
  13. Hey Guys, Long time forum lurker, first time poster. I'm finally ready to pickup my first Breitling and I've had my eye on a black Avenger Seawolf for several months now. I normally get my time pieces from Josh/PC however, after recently checking availability with him, he has informed me that he can no longer get anything in the seawolf lineup. I also asked about a black SOSF with no luck in availability. My question is, does anyone know of a reputable dealer where I can find a black Seawolf or SOSF with a steel bracelet and swiss movement? Anyone looking to sell? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
