  1. This is good to know. Bottom line, be gentle until maybe the zig meister can glue them in permanently.

    Better than mine, though. The movement didn't work for [censored]. Had to go straight to a watchmaker. Which seemed easier than sending it back to China.

    It's true, though. There look to be a few little tiny errors on the dial. The 1 in "10" is a bit wonky, and the lume dot on 4 is a little out of place. I bet there will be little variations for each watch. I think, though, that overall the execution is excellent. The date font looks great, the crystal is beautiful. The dial is a great color grey (same watch as I purchased, as well).

    So it's very, very nice.

  3. Let me suggest to you that it may have been magnetized. In this case, any watchmaker can likely fix it in under five minutes. They all have tool they use to de-magnetize the watch, and they don't even have to open it.

    It's also possible that it has been over-oiled and some of it has gotten onto the spring. In this case, it WILL need to be serviced.

    I would suggest getting it de-magnetized first before you send the watch off for service.

  4. It still amaze me how few people here are ready to trow a dealer in mud just because they get their tracking number 2 days later. Having it before it ship or when it's still in the f*ucking plane, you will still get your watch!

    Unless I'm wrong, Angus is a guy that actually ship himself watches. (well every time I order something from him, I have a special request that "someone" have to do before shipping, and he do it) So comparing Josh the dropshipper that never see a single watch that he sell with Angus is a bit unfair. (don't get me wrong, I'm not that stupid to think Angus actually looks at every watch he sell to be sure it's ok... no dealer are doing that beside narikaa I think and ruby which take a picture of YOUR stuff before sending.. love that :D)

    And stop that damn crap with the dealers war. I order from Angus, Joshua, Andrew, River, Ruby.. All of them always gave me great services even if sometime they take few day to reply an email! Only trouble I had was TTK (who didn't?) and... Angus which stand behind the problem and offered me a replacement + compensation.

    Again, I think you have a valid point. It was never my intent to needlessly complain.
