I know for many people like myself, the IWC 3714-01 is their grail. The black strap and the silvery white dial is a flawless combination providing a beautiful formal looking watch. The gold accents and the subdials help provide an extra sporty dimension to the watch, making it a really versatile wearer. However, the rep is prone to problems, and the genuine isn't cheap.

This is why I love the GO Senator Sixties so much. It captures most of what I love about the IWC, but for only 118USD!! It is more formal than the IWC because there are no complications, but his is a good thing! Anyway, here are a few more pictures I have taken today with my trutsy Nokia N95......

I think you got ripped off. That looks nothing like the gen. There are way too many whiskers, the ears are too far apart, the eye color is wrong, and the gen doesn't have white paws.

I really like the watch, though.

It looks like a great watch , whether it is faithful to the original or not ,,,,,, who cares !!!!!

Honestly,,,, how many people recognizes Glashutte Original as a brand let a lone to be aware of the model and the details ,

I can assure you no body will recognize what it is on any wrist

And for $118,,,well riped off is not exactly descriptive term here

I absolutely ADORE Zenith, but only their classic ELP models. The new Defy Extremes are just gross.

This is very, very nice... although Seagull ST-19 is no El Primero, it really "dresses up" these watches so well.

Now we only need a rep of the Flyback chronos, like the Rainbow (which is my personal favorite). Like this, they can't replicate it accurately... but so what. Just make a quality rep that has quality feel!

PS: Does the crystal have AR, or is it just a light reflection in your photos?

I would suggest to wait till you see the Black Dial and allow it some time to grow on you ,

It is by all means a marvelous watch , the fit and finish of the MBK AP Jumbo matches that of a Gen Omega or even supersedes it

"credibility-gaining piece". I'm a junior attorney handling my first solo deposition and trial here in the next couple of months against some big wigs at a major defense firm. I've got the power-suit and I know that I can manage well in these situations, but I feel that a nice watch would add a lot to my persona both in the deposition and among the jury. Unfortunately, I just dont have the kind of money that the big dog attorneys are bringing home. I was thinking Patek Calastrava, but wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions. It needs to be dressy, but not completely black-tie-formal. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
