Kinda hoping that is the correct size date window, For the price I hope it's close to genuine. I'm more worried about the DW overlay lining up correctly. I guess we will see when i send it to you.

This is my next 1680 build let me know what you think about the dial and current insert. I have a pmwf insert in the picture below too just in case it is better than yuki's insert.

I have a yuki 1680 case arriving this week and will be using a 2846 movement. Although it's not a 5513 case I will let you know if it fits. Most of their cases only say for eta 2824 & 2836.

I'm happy with it and that's a small issue that can be fixed in the future. For now I am enjoying it.

I will try to get daylight shots later.

Here's my new PT 1680 daily beater. Thanks to JMB for all his help in making the mods happen. How's my insert as I didn't. bother replacing it with PMWF insert.

I am looking at a Tudor 9411 from Jewelryandwatch and would like to get other members opinion about it. It also doesn't. say that much in the description as to what movement is in the watch. Is it a good deal for $900+++?

Thanks a lot, I will pull the trigger on the PT white 1680. Since I'm new to all of this modding where can i source crown/tube (is it 7mm),crystal and insert. Dumb question, what is the retention ring for?. This will be my daily wear so my 1601 can rest.

Thanks for the welcome and the advise. I just want to go cheap as possible but looks good and by adding up parts from yuki I should be able to build one for under $1,000. Is that a good price with all parts from yuki? Will it be a decent 1680. Again thanks for the help.

Just found this forum and I want to get your guys' help in building a 1680. Can I get some help on where to get everything I need. I've checked out yukiwatch and everything I need seems to be there. Can anybody suggest where to get case etc. other than yuki for a fair price. Help would be much appreciated.
