I think it was around $400. Its a modded version from TWP with thick crown, super lume and cannon pin fix so still might be worth fixing.

I ordered this watch from Hont just over a week ago and today I received a nice little parcel containing this beauty. Sorry for the crap phone pics but got no camera at the moment.

Yeah its very possible that a spring has popped out when i removed the click screw. No chance of finding that now on the carpet!!!lol The original problem was very strange. Just went to wind it as usual and the crown just wouldnt turn?

Hi I have a PAM 111h with an asian 6497 movement which is around 18 months old. I tried to wind it up this morning and the crown wouldnt turn. I looked at the back of the watch and noticed that the two large cogs start to turn then the part indicated on the picture seemed to jam. I removed the case back and removed this part and on doing this it felt like something had unwinded. I replaced this part and now the crown turns freely but doesnt wind the watch. also the part i removed doesnt spring back when turning the crown. If anybody could suggest what the problem could be i would greatly appreciate your input. I live in Manchester, UK so if anybody knows any rep-friendly watchmakers locally then i might take it to them. Depending on how serious the problem is i could also contact The Zigmeister and ask him if he could repair it for me. Thanks Steve

If you look at the picture of the movement of the first watch he sent me is that one the " new " asian movement? Also the movement with the bad " Officine Panerai " engraving seems to tick slower than the one with the good engraving. I too am a bit concerned about the crown, it does seem to stand off the case a bit too much.

Well to be honest the engraving on the first watch i received was much better. I presume there the same movement just with a different engraving? heres a picture of the previous movement.

Today i received my modded PAM111h from TWP. I had some problems with the first watch i ordered from him so i posted it back to him and he sent me a replacement. It arrived very well packaged and with a Kevlar divers strap free of charge for my trouble which is fantastic!!!! It comes modded with high cannon pin, double AR and superlume. I also went for the new asian 6497 movement after reading good things about them here. Overall im happy with the watch and think it looks great with the kevlar strap. I would appreciate it if you could give your honest opinion on it and any advice for future mods! Sorry for the bad pictures, ive only got my phone camera at the moment!! Thanks Steve

I have been in touch with TWP and he is building me a new watch and sending it out tomorrow. He has offered to pay for the shipping of the faulty watch back to him but i will pay that myself. I have been thinking today and feel that the thread i started was out of order and unfair to the reputation of the collector so i would like to apologise to TWP for any trouble that i might have caused. I still am upset that the watch i recieved was faulty even though it had been inspected prior to shipping but i should have given him more time to make it right before starting this thread. Ive been a member of this forum for a couple of years and read every day but not an active poster so i guess it was noobish of me to write what i wrote. So sorry TWP for this and i look forward to receiving my new watch and doing business with you again. Keeno

the dealer has contacted me and everything will be getting sorted. The watch arrived to me in a bad way and i guess thats reps for you but i never expected a qc'd watch to arrive like that.

I understand your view on this matter but members need to know that just because a collector says that their watches are QC'd it doesnt mean that they will arrive without any problems. I felt that i should let people know, some members might think its wrong some might think its right. Everyone has their own opinion.

Sorry i had a few problems posting the picture, it should be on now. Regarding the dealer, i have sent him an email and am waiting for a responce. I understand that it is every members duty to help the community by telling people about these kind of problems but was still unsure if i should let everyone know who this dealer is.

Hi all Around six weeks ago i ordered a fully modded PAM 111h from one of our trusted collectors and today it finally arrived. When i opened the package i was absolutly gutted with what i had received. First of all the crown guard wasnt even attached to the watch. Also the crown doesnt sit close to the case when its closed. It also looks like the dial isnt square and slightly off centred to the right, im not sure about that one though. And i had paid extra to have a stainless bracelet but got a standard brown leather strap instead!!! I ordered this watch from this collector because he does all the mods himself and also tests and inspects the watches prior to shipping. Ive tried to screw the CG back on but it seems that the screws arnt long enough as they wont screw into the case. Id rather not name the collector but just hope that he sorts it out. I understand that with drop shipped watches there is always the risk that there might be problems but you expect much better service when you pay a premium for a QC'd watch!!!!! I bought a Davidsen 005 about 6 months ago and was very happy with it. The fit and finish of the watch in general was excellent IMO. The lume was evenly covered and looked great at night. Overall i was very happy with the whole package davidsen offered, good communication, fast delivery and great product. I know people have mixed opinions but thats just my overall experiance. I have ordered a modded 111h from TWP which should be here in the next few days. Good communication and hopefully a fanastic product so try emailing him and see if hes still accepting orders at the moment. Ive also had a watch from Davidsen which was superb so search the forum, do some research and choose a collector. As long as you stick with the collectors listed here your in safe hands!!!! Steve

Iv just had the exact same thing with a watch from Josh, for about a week it said that it had left china then all of a sudden it was at the delivery depot in manchester and out for delivery the next day!!!! dont worry about it mate im sure it will arrive!!!!! steve
