I've asked two dealers if they could get me case parts. None said they could. Sheesh! Also, the title should read "Why don't dealers sell parts?"

Can somebody please measure their dial and tell me the size? It can be either the 3717 dial or Spitfire chrono dial.

I could make a new tube fit. But, the crown is completely stripped and came apart.

I purchased the Spitfire XV which has the incorrect hands for my Mark XV project. I got the Spitfire XV because it had the correct caseback. I figured finding hands would be easier than finding the correct caseback.

Please, people!!!! This watch was only 3 days old when the crown tube got stripped. Dealer wants me to ship the watch back at my cost, which will cost over $100 for return shipping. I already spent enough on this dud.

I did. Every dealer response I received was the same: "We don't sell parts."

Anybody? I need a crown and crown tube.

Its not a Speedy Moon. Its a Speedmaster Date.

Does anybody have a spare XV case with crown they'd like to sell? My crown broke off and I'm unable to remove what's still screwed onto the crown tube. Pliers didn't help...actually made it worse.

Retaining ring? I'll have to measure mine again. Properly this time.

The Speedy moon uses an acrylic crystal. The Date has a sapphire one. Thanks for looking.

Its 32.8 +/- 0.1 mm.

Would a gen crystal fit? Anybody know where I can get one? How about an aftermarket crystal?

Is that 20mm or 19mm lugs?

I didn't think the hands were gen. But, the dial is 100%. Seller of dial and hands are two different people.
