in NYC, having a car is a madness if you're working in the city. therefore, most ppl use subway/bus for transportation. I saw like 5-10 artists (singer-actor-actress etc) in the subway and on the bus. they were dressed just like a regular person; jeans, t-shirt, nike shoes etc. So, even the most famous or rich people may dress regularly and use public transportation. NYC may have a huge effect on this of course, but my real real story is; I saved money for some time, did some translation work etc. in summer instead of having a vacation and bought a gen Tag for myself as a graduation gift. I don't have a car, I live in a rent house, I don't wear gucci, prada, d&g, chanel whatever brands.. but I have a gen Tag and it's on my wrist most of the time. and that's only because I wanted it so badly and didn't eat or drink, go out at night, missed a few concerts, just to get it, and I got it. anyone checking me out after seeing my watch may think it's a rep, oh look this guy's wearing levi's jeans, adidas superstar shoes, a striped dockers sweat shirt. I'm sure his Tag is a rep. No sir, It's more gen than you could imagine.

Each set of RIMM's must be of the same type, memory density and size" Just like in today's dual-channel memory boards, you have to buy identical memories for the slots. which means same brand, same model, same speed. Whatever you buy, buy x2 or x4 generally RD memories are a little bit more expensive than DDRs. you have to look for "PC800 RDRAM" while shopping. However, instead of spending over $100 for 1gb memory only, I would recommend you to change your motherboard, buy one of the latest Asus or Gigabyte boards with double channel DDR2 or even DDR3 support, and then at least 2x 1GB memory of the recommended brand by the motherboard manufacturer. I currently upgraded my burnt motherboard and purchased a Gigabyte (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128090) I'm very satisfied with it, it has the "best" graphics chip (although I don't use), 6CH audio, Optical out for digital sound, Firewire, HDMI, eSATA etc. everything you could expect from a $99 motherboard. However, It's designed for AMD, you may check out some intel models between $70-130.

If the "balance wheel" is the thin yellow wheel inside the lower part under the red stone, it runs freely. In my other watch, It moves very fast, like clockwise - counter clockwise, tick-tack. but in this defective one, it runs free when I flip the watch I can see it moving And, is it normal that the watch stops working when one of these clamp screws go off? because there's no movement in the watch

I received it from one of our collectors, it was dead on arrival. I can see screws in it and it's definitely not working. What do you think happened? What should I do?

Well I got it from a wristcheck topic. Actually, instead the filled one, I want a deeper one, so I have no options but get Angus's ultimate 111H. Still waiting for price info from Angus.

Thank you very much for clarifying scoobs, Actually I want 111H especially for the sandwich dial, and have further questions about that. In some pictures, the second (lumed) layer is very deep and it looks like a huge groove, whereas in other pics, the 2 layers of the dial are very close to each other, I can't even recognize if it's a sandwich or sausage dial. is this done on purpose? I mean, If I tell Angus that I want my dial deeper than the standard, is it possible? I don't remember which member's watch this was, but the dial seems just like I want it to be, lumed layer seems a little bit deeper, doesn't it?

And I'm a newbie to the dial names. sandwich and sausage, what are these? the double layer with "hole" numbers is the sandwich, and over-the dial ones are sausage I guess?

I finally decided to get a 111H. checking old messages, I see that TWP sells modded Asian for 415 + ship. Should I buy directly from him or can I save a few bucks by getting an unmodded and sending it to other modders? if the latter, where do I get it cheapest and the most accurate, and which modder should I send it? I don't know how much they charge for lume, cannon pinion etc. What mods would you do to a 111H Asian?

yes, thank you I verified it with king, I bought a Tag Carrera Chrono (red hands), a tag heuer box, and a beginmariner. 245 carrera 120 beginmariner 50 tag box 415 usd.. she promised me a discount last month, as my 2nd purchase from her was problematic, I sent it back, the watch got lost in the post etc etc. and as I got multiple items, I paid 385 usd total. she will ship it tomorrow.. Josh's beginmariner is usd 108, but his carrera is a lil bit pricey (usd 278) so I think the total is approximately the same, I'm waiting for my watches to wear

Just talked to King, she said, she may send the "asian" version of the same watch (case,bracelet etc. everything same, only movement is different) for usd 120. I will order one tag carrera chrono + box also, therefore thinking of getting asian version of it from her. I guess they're the same with Josh's beginmariner?
