How right you are Sir. We are all blessed to many a degree. But exercising ones due diligence and googling "common sense" will certainly be an invaluable habit. But, forgive me as I criticize your " Ask and you shall receive" statement. I am that guy that will listen attentively with great respect and admiration but when I'm being fed B.S, i'm gonna slam you. The statement " Ask and you shall receive" is quite possibly one of the most renown quid pro quo expressions in our English language history. The realization that people have bastardized it and diluted it from it's original and Intentional context is utterly grotesque and an abomination. This statement is from LUKE 11:9 in which you were consoled to " ASK GOD for his guidance, forgiveness, love and protection." ONLY then are you recognized to receive his blessing in which you have asked. Not to be so damn lazy you'd rather " Ask the most mundane questions of everyday life" and " Receive a handout, then to actually EARN your answer.

If you need to ask " is this a good watch" then you have absolutely no business buying said watch. Are you going to take QC pics of a TV and ask is this a good TV? How about a game system ? Or maybe a desktop ? How about a mountain bike? Those decisions could very easily over value a $300 rep. Yet, I presume you do your homework and make the choice on your own about any other purchase. Why is this any different? Our "TD's" have been around longer than some and will be around longer than most. The thought of a "TD" being questioned nauseates me. These TD's have been through a plethora of libel from so many of the " knowledgeable members". Many of whom, have no tact, nor manners, and just speak their mind. (My kind of people, btw ) The TD's reputation far out weighs your [censored] ant $300 purchase. Keys to success here. IMHO. Keep quiet. Listen or read. Search the forums. Evaluate your financial situation. Browse the TD's website. Make a list of " Possibles" Research some more. Be a gentleman. Ask a couple of limited & educated questions. Pay the damn man. Shut up & wait. Pretend it's Christmas when your watch arrives. Post positive feedback for your TD. Take lots of pictures. Share your POSITIVE buying experience with us. Repeat steps 5 more times. Then consider becoming a contributing member. END. ********************** Note to self ****************** Research on becoming a contributing member.

Yes we do. I've also noticed the " Daily Wrist Checks" have been a little slim lately. Nothing gets my morning going like good O'l watch porn. ( Hoping the GF doesn't see this)

Here's an interesting perspective. You are ordering a watch from an individual that is thousands of miles away. Your language could be his 2nd,3rd or even 4th. He has a GLOBAL website that could cater to millions if not billions of people. You and he/she are one person. You must think you're the only one E-mailing him. The only one asking for 100 different angles of the same watch. The only one sending, Lord knows how many emails asking a million questions. News flash, you're not. It's a $100, $200 , $300,$400 hobby. It shouldn't be this big of a deal. If the order is wrong, so what. THEY WILL FIX IT. That's why they are called " Trusted Dealers". Not so they can Baby sit you through a couple hundred dollar process. If you want a Sales Rep for a Baby sitter, then buy a house. Buy an exotic car, or even buy a Gen watch. That's where your money goes. Most of it goes to the item, the rest to the experience and customer service.

What a beautiful watch. The more complicated, the more intriguing.

For me, I like the convenience of a simple thumb and I'm instantly taken to the account sub headings to where I can choose the watch sale section or the general discussion.

Just got Version 2. Love it. It seems quite a bit different from the original considering I've only owned it for about 35 minutes. Looks like my GF will really be on me now to get off my phone and pay attention to her. Just kidding

"Pretty soon you realize that your fake car is terrible, and whatever enjoyment it offered you in the first few hours of ownership, it has made up for in being a total piece of garbage. That is pretty much what most fake watch ownership is like. The bottom line is that aren’t nearly as good as the real thing from a quality standpoint." Interesting. I've owned Gens and took a leap of faith years ago. I haven't looked back since. Why buy one Gen that I'm going to nick, scratch, drop, clip on a corner of a wall...... When I can buy at least 10-15 for the same price ? This writer is a Pompas @ss. Obviously he has a lot of short comings he's been struggling with during his life time. My $.02

I just wanted to share how my dealings went with KHAD. The Deal took place here first of all. http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/159869-rolex-submariner-ceramic-bezel-x-2-josh-asian-2813-bk-omega-planet-ocean-42-mm-tt-swiss-eta-2824-2/#entry1240461 I purchased the Black Sub from Joshua and was surprised that KHAD got it to me in just 3 days all the way from Canada to South West Texas. He packed it pretty well and the watch arrived as described. I went ahead and took out some Jewelry cleaning spray and gave it a good cleaning and polished it up a little bit. Needless to say it wears very well considering it was already sized to fit him, which in fact is exactly how I like to wear my watches and fits me perfectly. KHAD had impeccable communication with me when I had a couple of questions and was very quick to reply. All in all it was a very smooth, quick and easy transaction. If he happens to have any other watches for sale in the future, I would gladly recommend him to anyone. He is an asset to our forum. Regards, L8terz

I went ahead and switched to the mobile version. I actually think I have like $4 left on my iTunes card might as well give it a go.

Is it me or is this app not functioning all that well? I've actually seen different info on the app than what is on the actual website. What's the deal , anyone know ?
-
I completely endorse Andrew 100%. Flawless customer service and attention to detail in every transaction.

Thanks for the info.

Well..........for the sport of the topic, the primary watch was a DSSD. But you'll notice for some other reason there were others visible which caused me to ask about those for sale. Happy hunting. Additional hint : I didn't respond to the add, I contacted the seller directly.
-
He didnt repost it but his ad is still active. I agree that if he doesn't want to sell the watch then he should postpone the ad at least until he's more comfortable.
-
I really appreciate all of you guys's opinions thus far. I am sure some of you would like to know who it was but I don't believe he deserves to be burned. After all, I did get my money back. I've decided to just go through my preferred Dealer.

So here I am browsing through the Trading zone and I spot this watch I liked. I contacted the seller and we proceeded to exchange e-mails for a couple of days. Ended up scoring a couple more and coming to a great deal for the both of us. I payed the seller in full via PayPal earlier today and then within hours " The Seller" backed out for some very unusual reason. Amazingly he changed his mind because he wanted references from me. How in the world does one come to that determination? He was already paid and all he had to do was put the watches in a box and mail it. So my question is, if you are having " Sellers Remorse" then why in the world did you put your item up for sale and leave the add posted for a while? Interestingly enough, he promptly refunded my money but I have to wait a whole week before PayPal will release my money. At least that's what they said over the phone. My money is now hanging out there when it could be warming up someones wallet and I could be peeping the time with some very nice time pieces. Not to mention this may cause me to avoid the Trading zone from now on due to this situation. Fortunately I handled this in a very calm and professional manner and even bid the member best wishes for the future. I apologize for the rant and I hope this doesn't happen to someone else. The End.
