from what i've read the 2813 movement seems ok and should be fine for the future.

unless you guys think otherwise?

Lani informed me that the lack of AR shouldnt be too bad on the White face but will the crystal itself let the watch down as it is a 'synthetic crystal'

just joied myself ! ive got a raymond weil replica asian 7750 i believe it appears to be gaining around 20mins a day after getting the back off and realising im compleatly out of my depth put it back quickly still fast any ideas !

Hi can anyone enlighten me as to how this is done as i have successfully murdered my gen TT sub blue dial trying to get it to fit my ETA movement. First of all, the feet didnt match, so i had to break em and superglue em into place (not ideal..keeps breaking off still)...

Then the date window doesnt align itself with the datewheel!

How did bytor get this done on his explorer 2?

You can get stick on dial feet that you can place anywhere on the dial, or use dial dots to glue to the movement. You probably need some kind of date wheel overlay for that to line up.

Looks like an SEL had come apart in two... anyone know where to get one of these without having to purchase a whole bracelet? might someone have a half bracelet they don't need?

I have already taken off the bad SEL! never knew it was so easy!!

Try gluing the SEL back together with some 2 part epoxy, even if it does not hold, it would be held in place by the spring bar so you wouldn't lose anything.

If you are able to remove the caseback it would help to diagnose the problem.

Crown should push back into place quite easily, and will make a clicking noise when attached correctly.

Do you know if the Eurotimez version has the correct clasp?

Does anyone have any drawings of gen cases? Or something similar that shows the dimensions of the genuine cases? I am wondering about installing an after market tropic to a rep datejust case, and wonder if the dimensions of this part of the case are the same.
