What you need is a 120 Garryflex pad, this is like the pan eraser alrady suggested.
The power of the garryflex is shown here -

What about a propor tool sold on eBAy for about 35 USD?
Got it thanks.

Vintage,
Try a 5/64 screw extractor from any hardware store, a few bucks. That's what I used on my MBW's. Genuines use a torx type of tool that Caskers sells for ~$40.
I've read that some guys have used a rat tail file with success.
Good luck!
Thanks for the reply, would using the screw extractor damage the tube?

Does anyone know where I can get (inexpensive) tools to remoe a polex crown tube, also do the reps use the same tool as the genuine watches?
Thx.

I would be interested too.

To be honest; I stare more at people's watches than their faces.
Once I've figured out what watch it is, then it's all face looking.
Me too

NO-ONE IS PMING MEMBERS WITH SECRET INFORMATION!
I have used cousins in the past and found them to be very helpful.

TT Navi... mmm....
Nice watch, its a real shame about the recessed date, I would have one if it wasn't for that issue.

Acetone disolves the UV glue, but normally the glue is hardened, and I scrape it off with a xacto knife, and finish it off with a wet rag dipped in acetone. It should come clean.

Thanks, my wife has some I will give it a go.

I have received several registered airmail packages to various addresses in the UK without any issues, usually takes about 10 days from the Far East. Some from HK took only a few days though.

Thanks, pm sent.

The Zigmeister, what would you recommend for removing some of the residue that is left on the glass when a cyclops lens is installed?
Thanks.
