  5. Hi Guys. I've done alot of reading about the wholesale markets in Guangzhou. And i'm planning to go take a look in the next few months as i'm living very close in Macau... But my question is has anyone had any luck with high quality watches from Zhuhai? I have spent a few days exploring but most watches seem to be of lower quality. Or maybe as me being pretty new to the hobby, Im looking at the wrong stuff! But is there any easy way to confirm is a watch has quality movement (non 21j etc) without opening the watch up?! Any info would be much appreciated. Kind regards Dan
  6. Hi, Just had 2x Day dates arrive in the post from MR. I got one TI and a Singapore special ed. Find attached below photos of the Ti, Very happy with the rep. Seems very accurate. Only difference I can find (surprisingly took a while) is the colour of the second hand! Even know the strap is not very similar I like the strap on the rep alot! Dan
  7. Hi all, Im relatively new to automatic watches. I own a bunch of 21j watches which have been working well for the last year or so but I have just ordered a 2x 7750 Tag Carrera watches from MR. And from what I have read the 7750 movement is prone to breaking down without a "service and lube". So is it possible to open up the watch and do a "DIY" lube job. Or even using a small amount of silicon or WD40. Dont shoot to noobie if my ideas are far left field! Any advise would be appreciated Thanks Dan
