You have a link for that site? I did a search for "Lee Raymond Jewelers" but could not find any bezel inserts from any of the sites I looked at.

I had no intention of making this a hobby. I just wanted to get a nice replica or two of watches I really liked that I could where around on a daily basis. What has happened however is that a long repressed need to tinker with mechanical devices and electronics has now come back after I purchased my first rep. Now all I want to do is take it apart and modify it instead of just wearing the damn thing like I originally wanted to do..........

Thanks for the replies and no I was not expecting perfection. I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for. I think I will replace the insert with a genuine (if I can find one) or a very good generic insert. As for the laser crown, if I can find a genuine Rolex crystal like on Ofrei will it have the crown etched in it? Also, does anyone know a good place to source the inserts?

Ok, so now that the honeymoon is over and I took off my happy eyes I have noticed a couple things that I would like to get some advice on please. I recently purchased a “perfect” sub from Josh and wrote a review which I posted on the other RWG site. I STILL like the watch very much but want to change a couple things. There were some modifications made before it was shipped which makes it the “perfect” version including: Modifications : Watch Case, Crown Guards is modded to correct shape as genuine. Bracelet edges is modded smooth and whole bracelet is repolished to hariline low sheen finish. Waterproofing : Additional seals are add on and watch is pressure tested to 5 bars... 50m waterproofing.. Movement is completely overhauled and re-assembled, serviced and re-lub with 5 different types of Swiss imported movement lubricant, Calibration to +5 secs per day. The issues I am having are with the date mag being too far over to the right and the pearl but I’m not sure if the date window and mag are too far right or just the mag. I have not contacted Josh about this because I wanted to get some advice and see if it would be worth the shipping, money, and possibly having the watch come back worse than when it left. Any advice would greatly be appreciated.

I just received my Submariner rep yesterday and was asked by carphone in another forum if my scuba extension worked and I did not know what he was taking about since this is my first one. After reading some more and looking at the pics in the “My Perfect Sub From Josh Arrived Today--flawless.” thread which shows a pic of the scuba extension extended I would like to make mine work as well. I read that you have to completely undo that end of the bracelet from the clasp, open the extension, and re-attach it so it folds up & closes correctly but I am still uncertain how to do this fully and don’t want to damage the watch. Is there anyone that can help me with this?

I have been on another forum called RWG reading a lot and remembering reading something about the old and the new RWG or RWG2??? Is this just a newer version of the other forum with the same people?
