  1. If it helps at all, I thought the same thing you did and got ready to pull the trigger... I have the GEN, and I wanted to compare side-by-side. LMAO. We're all human.
  2. Well BT, one would hope so.... This is the text directly under the last picture. (The above picture is the actual picture of an authentic Rolex Yacht-Master 16622 we bought for our 2008 Rolex Yacht-Master 16622 Project)
  3. Ken-- My heart goes out to you and your family. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers. It is never easy to say goodbye to a loved one. Just remember all the wonderful thoughts and good times... and she will live on in your hearts and memories for eternity. All my best to you my friend. Thousands of miles may separate us, but if you need anything you know how to reach me. Sincerely- J
  4. Thank you for your service! I couldn't have said it better myself! As an individual who HAS taken the life of another, I can promise you that it is NOT pleasant. But knowing what I know and having seen what I have seen.... I can promise you that those of you that are against guns know NOTHING of what true evil and violence is. If you did, you'd understand the concept of being able to defend yourself and why those of us that are pro-gun feel so strongly about it. It's already been stated that you can kill someone with a car, a knife or even a razor. Why no cry for these things to be restricted? I blame the media and the way it sensationalizes everything. Someone said that war has caused the kids these days to be violent. I say bs. The fault there lies with the PARENTING. I grew up shooting guns. I was raised with a shotgun and a rifle on my wall. I went to a HIGH SCHOOL THAT HAD A SHOOTING TEAM. In the ENTIRE HISTORY of that school there was not a SINGLE violent act committed with a gun. There were SEVERAL committed with baseball bats, hockey sticks and cooking knives. Something to think about.
  5. Can't believe I missed this! Happy Belated B-day man!
  6. Sorry guys... I should have specified. The ring that yodap is referring to is what I've lost.
  7. So.... the bezel to my 6.75 fell off today. Somewhere. Somewhere between here and 50 miles from my house. Anybody got any idea where to get a new one? My dealer has been non-responsive. (the timepiece is about 6 months old)
  8. Here's a pic of my GEN for comparison. The old version is WAAAAAAY off. I wonder if they'll offer this w/ a SWISS 7750?
  9. LMAO at all the theories and " Google " research. How many of you have any military experience at all, let alone SF or SPECWAR experience? The US trains and trains with almost every large-scale organization mentioned. Our advantage is clear. We have more money, better technology and an overall better mindset. This is NOT US-brainwashed propaganda either. This is coming from someone that has trained with the best everyone has to offer... and knows what each group has to offer. I respectfully tip my hat to Her Majesty's SAS and the Israeli SF. I've had the pleasure of working with both... and they are by far the most impressive.
  10. your PM box is full buddy

  11. If his doesn't work let me know. I've got one I can zip out to you. I'm a few states under you.
  12. The Cockpit I bought my better half: And now the watches! : The new Super Avenger dial. I'm getting one of these! : One of the Bentley's outside. Sorry for the poor picture. Myself and the President of Breitling, Mr. Philippe Bonay.
  13. Sorry for the late update guys. We had a BLAST! Ended up buying a Cockpit for my lady. (no jokes, please) They had every single Breitling available for purchase out so that you could admire them, handle them and try them on! Just walk over, pick it up and put it on. Outside of the dining area, on the boulevard, they had three different models of the new Bentley's. (the CARS) I was admiring the new-for-08 dial Super Avenger when a thin fellow came over and grabbed my wrist. I ended up wearing my Panerai 111H. We engaged in conversation for a few minutes before he introduced himself as the PRESIDENT of Breitling. The most interesting part of the conversation? He was recently hired as the president for Breitling, but he USED to be the president of PANERAI! He commended me on my watch choice and then jokingly pointed at this wrist, saying that he was wearing a boy's sized watch now. Apparently when he got the job he was sent down to the vault to pick out whatever he wanted. He chose a black dial Navitimer with arabic numerals and a black w/white stitch strap. We had a few beers then some cocktails and snagged the food as it was strolled by on various trays. Suprisingly enough, there were quite a few Rolex's, a lot of IWC's and only a few Breitling's on the wrists. Most of the people there were not collectors. They just had a LOT of money. I saw two AP ROO's and quite a few ladies wearing Cartier's. My Panerai was sort of snubbed until the guests saw the president trying my 111H on for memories. He even commented on my TWB strap, saying that it was nicer than the Panerai straps! It was a great night. I got the President's card and email. He's going to be in town until this Sunday, so we're going to head out for dinner tonight and talk timepieces. He's a charming guy and much more engaging than most President's of companies that I've met before. He joked that he needed to get back into the gym and asked me how often I trained. A really fun guy. Now for the pictures!
