  1. Dear Friends:

After severals hours sleep; I'm feel much better now. Just Took severals better photos & write this review.

I bought the 1st batch of C1 orignial colour when it released. However; the 1st batch really got many problems. 1.) Big-Gap between the Rubber bezel with the case 2.) many surplus on the rubber bezel; the cutting is really bad 3.) Un-tighten Chronograph-pushers. So, I send it back. But all these problems; had been fix by maker on the 2nd batch.

These series of Concord is made by the famous HBB maker & it's 1:1 cloned. According to Angus; all parts are interchangeable with the Gen even the movement.

Last time I got the orginal colour & found that the strap to too long for me & the deployant buckle once again move to my left wrist & make me feel very un-comfortable. So, I did a little trick to got a pair of short strap for Concord service center.....Free Of Charge....

I did swapped the rep one with gen strap. I found that it's 100% same contruction & fit perfectly. I compare the Gen with the rep & found rep one colour just a little bit darker than + a little bit harder. Also; even gen strap are a little bit dust attractive; but relax it's not worse at all.

Sapphire crystal is thick 3.3mm & double ARed. Because the crystal is flat-top; the rep AR did made the crystal totally disappear most of the time. Case is mixed by brushed & high-polished. And Steeless Stain with 5mils 18K RG gold plated; when I swap the strap; I found that the screws thread also plated with RG. For sure when the screws tighten into the case will scratch it; from the debris I found the RG plate is really thick. The RG plated case is beautiful; it change its colour according the light source. Sometime lighter & sometime darker. It's really enjoy to look on it.

Gen movement is ETA Valgranes movement. (http://www.valgranges.ch/#/products/A07_211) It's a bigger size version of ETA7750 which made for the 44mm or bigger watch. I can't confirm the rep movement is really cloned Valgranes movement. But the polish, engravement, especially the mounting mechanism are very similar to Valgranes. However; after handle 2 C1 I found both chrono second hand is very jerkly. Let see how it work after an overhaul servicing.

Dial is multi-layer + materials constuction as Gen: 1.) Carbon Fibre 2.) RG plate 3.) 3D Chronograph sub-dial.

Chrono minute, Chrono hour, Minute hand & Hour hand is RG. Chrono second is dark blue & the running second @9 is a disc. Nice colour matching & give more contrast on dial.

Lume at 1:00, 4:00, 7:00, 11:00 + Minutes & Hours Hand. Standard rep lume; not bad at all.

Case back engravement is actual the same as gen; all mark is correct & RG version also got "CWC 18x 750" marking. According to factory first 20 sets should got an individual serial. number. Mine is 1370465. How about your's?

Crown is hidden thread screw -in type ; standard 7750 contruction. 1st position for manual winding, 2nd for date adjustment, 3rd position for time adjustment. Because the crown is big; it's very easy to screw/unscrew & make your adjustment.

Deployant Buckle is solid & well made; push button very easy to lock & unlock the buckle for the longer side. But the shorter side is quite difficult to dis-attach.

Overall, I believe it's another good rep from HBB maker. Maybe some of you don't like its' design. For me; it's really a fantactic watch!

    Thx for watching!

P.S: Thx Angus to QC my watch!!

  3. Hi!

I met severals HK member through RG, RWG & RWI. We always thx for these forum to let us learn our knowlegde & also protecting us. However; we always found many poor noobies had been scammed on Yahoo.com.hk auction session. As english is not our native langauge; not many HK or Taiwan members being active & post much here. So, a chinese base rep forum idea came out. Here is our rough idea; feel free to get me your comment or ideas:

    ~ 100% Tradition & Simplied Chinese

~ A forum to share & gather informations

~ NO DEALER session in our forum

~ BUT we have 2nd hand trade forum

    ~ Review our collection

    Best Regards,

    Raymond

  4. Dave:

I'm very sorry about that! I'm shocked when I read this terrible news...I remember you post her photos on RG; and I love her very much as she is so cute. I've download 2 photos of her & show them to my wife that night. Could believe this happen....I don't know what should I say...But; take care my friend, your wife need you very much! Go get so sleep, ok?

    Best Regards,

    Raymond

  5. Poor manners on my part. The pictures look really good, and with the croc strap from the other thread the watch is smashing. Where were you able to get the croc, Raymond?

    Dear friend:

    Here you go:

    http://www.strappedfortime.com/DeBeerCroco...oWatchband.html

Strap for time. This's the 2nd time I ordered from them. Excellent Quality + Reasonable Price + Lightning Fast shipment = Highly recommended!

The Gen straps are way too expensive; I don't know why they ask for so expensive price for straps....maybe AD try to scam me, Ar? ...crazy for USD$688 Croco strap without buckle!

I can buy an AP Hornback for USD$320 only....

    Best Regards,

    Raymond

  6. Looks great on a croc strap. I'm downsizing but will probably still end up getting both a Skyland and SA. I will probably try to pickup a gen croc strap for the Skyland and pair it with a rep deployant buckle.

I did ask AD about the price of Gen straps:

    1.) Gen Croco USD$688....

    2.) Gen Plain Calf USD178....

Both are not include the buckle.....

    Crazy mother fxcker....

    Best Regards,

    Raymond

  7. Dear Friend:

Me again & again....after Ms.Raymond got her crazy hour; she start to pay a little attention when I browse "Reps-Site".....1 week before she found her 2nd target again....

Patek Philppe Twenty-4 Rose-Gold with MOP dial. Last weeks I took a week vocation for preparation my 2 MBA exam on last Monday & yesterday (God Damn I screw up on the 1st one..[censored]). Puretime Angus shipped her package to my office as usual....So I send my staff to pick up the package & bought to my home. She's so exciting & went to pick up the package by herself at the train station...very funny!

It's not a high end rep & also quartz only. It cost me USD178...A little bit expensive to me; but as long as Ms Raymond like it. Even it cost USD1780; I willing to pay for her! :p

  8. Hi Buddies:

Me again! Some of you may know my wife don't like my collect reps habit. Around 3 weeks ago; I visit local AD with my wife. She attract by the strange dial on FM crazy hour & asking me about that.

I never pay attention to FM crazy hour series because I didn't knew that the hour hand can jump like Gen......after i realize that factory made it jumped like Gen. I pull the trigger with no hesitation.

It's very funny & reasonable price USD120 only. The 1st night it arrived; me & my wife sit right in fornt of my winder to wait for it jump every hour. Crazy....but funny!

Hope Ms.Raymond will fall in love with watch soon....then I can get more reps without her permition anymore... :p

  9. Dear All:

As I said before; Skyland's SS band is great, shinny & comfort. But I think it's too heavy & not enough of contract. Also; I always want a pair of brown Croco straps....So; I order a pair of "deBeer EUROPA baby croco grain with white stitch strap" last week from Strap-for-Time. 5 days from USA to HK. After swapped to strap; weight decreased & evenly spread on the straps. Much more comortable & brown colour inrease the contract. very happy!
