i got so into the pre V model after tired with vintage, after dial trial, strap trial and booklet, its time to start with the box to complete the package this take a loooong time and alot of patience I take a lot of photos to compare, many hours of searching for parts like hinges locally and the magnetic lock my first came out too thick and the wood work is very poor, its a shame since i used a good teak wood...oh well lesson to learn any after refinement on the drawing, measurement n better size of hinges, finally the bright light appear... still not the perfect one, but its close enough. This time with cheaper wood: kampfer wood Here are some shots left is the first, right is the second trial second trial in more detail shot i'll use some wood stain to get the right color for the next step Btw, please share some opinion about this box guys

thnx projectologist, i used different technique with gen in marking the metal seems that the gen use stamp, while i use laser and with the finishing gen use sand blast, but i think i saw the brush buckle also

as my project goes, few days ago i received the very fist mockup of the box I found the measurement off when i compare it to the gen pre v box photo. So far i only confinced with the thickness of the box lip: 1.35cm with barrel hinges diameter of 1cm I need help the get exact meassuerment of gen pre-V box to create this booklet project. if anyone here can share me the measurment that will be a great help
