  1. I've been refreshing like mad, because I'm just about to go out for the evening, and Paul is awaiting my order. ;)

As far as the size, I'll take my chances, but what I'd REALLY like to know is if this Radiomir looks glaringly obviously a fake?

Thanks for the advice, MK08, either way!

Hi that is a nice looking watch but it isnt really a Rad looks more like a fantasy model in the 44mm "fiddy style" case. Rads have wire lugs and 45mm case. Hope this helps ultimately go for what you like, but if you want an accurate model might want to just go for a base like the 111.

  2. Actually the Rad is a 45mm case might be a bit large for a smaller wrist. The 111 or 177 are both classic best bets for a first Pam can't really go wrong with either just a matter of whether you like the polished Stainless or the darker more subdued (plus lighter weight) Titainium. And as for the 40mm Pams they really are a great choice some of them like the 050 are among the more accurate reps out there.

  3. Wow you guys have had some issues with EL Fiddy's. I bought one from a member on TRC sometimes I think it's best to buy off someone else and avoid the issues and shipping back and forth to rectify the problems. Mine is on it's way back from Flav today he did the works on it cannon pin, his custom lume, lever mod and movement lube. But I have to say you did some great work on yours looks very good.

  4. I have an EL Fiddy I bought from a member over on Replica Collector 117 case, sapphire without the blue AR hue that is a dead giveaway, and swiss 6497 without the modified plates (not a big deal cause even the best rep movement is a dead giveaway). Mounted it on a Bob Vertigo strap, now it's in to Flav for cannon pin, relume and crown guard mod. So in short the path to the best Fiddy is to pick a good base then spend the extra to mod it up.

  5. This just came in the mail this morning, bought it from a member over on RWI. A Pam 192 with the TI-SS bracelet, what can I say the watch is absolutely awesome very cool combo with the polished SS and Ti. And with the Seagull movement peeking through the display back and running flawlessly what can I say the 177 used to be my all time fave, this watch is making me seriously reconsider :victory:

  6. Hi to all I would appreciate some input on my next purchase. I have it narrowed down to the 199 upgraded Regatta and the 250 Daylight both on stainless bracelet (Asia 28,800). Does anyone have both? Which is the better of these two? Thanks in advance.

  7. Got mine through Angus (Rosegold version) absolutely no issues whatsoever runs perfectly. It is a great watch, if your even slightly attracted to the Big Bang you will not be disapointed. The feel of this watch on the wrist is terrific (even rivals some of the gens in my collection) I highly recommend it.

  8. quote name='jkerouac' post='196595' date='Feb 5 2007, 06:54 PM']I wonder what is going to go through Rex Grossman's head during the off season?

Will he be demolished by his experience this season, will he find the secret to becoming a winner, or will it be more of the same?

This, in my opinion, is one of the most intriguing set of questions that will be answered during this off season.

I wish him well. I don't have a lot of confidence in miracles, but I wish him well.

ditto, tony roma. That guy cannot be getting a lot of sleep.

I think grossman will be fine. he is young and needs some seasoning, but he has a lot of talent.

I agree and I think people who feel othewise are probably not giving the colts enough credit. I was a nuetral (Jets actually) fan watching the game, but I truly believe the better team won

People forget, the game was sloppy on both sides of the ball... The colts lost a couple of fumbles too. Clearly, the rain was a factor.l... it had to be kind of tuff handling a wet ball... ergo the missed extra point too.. .. as for the interceptions... i do think it is true that grossman some forced some throws once it got late in the game but they were behind than and he was likely trying to give his receivors oppportunities to make plays. In all honesty, they probably would have lost anyway.

The bears defense deserves some of the blame too. They did a good job in the red zone, but they couldn't get the colt offense off the field. They were too conservative.. too willing to giive up the intermediate pass so as to not get burned. That gave the colts a chance to make the plays, stay on the field and wear the bears down.. you really have to hand it to the colts. I think manning did a great jop managing the game in horrible conditions and making just enough plays to give the colts the edge. And they ran the ball especially well. Also as far as I am concerned the unsung hero of the game is bob sanders. That guy is a good football player.I know Rhodes and Adai played well, and they are getting thier ritefull perks, but nobody is really talking about sanders. Once he came off the injured list, they became a different team defensively, and he played his a$$ off.

I agree Bob Sanders is a difference maker on defense really helped stiffen up Indy's run D. And hat's off to Manning he went through years in the pressure cooker people questioning his ability to win the big one he's now the reigning Super Bowl MVP! Although the Bears did some things to shoot themselves in the foot they did get plain outworked and out muscled by the Colts on both sides of the ball.
