  1. Thanks guys, however, I was just thinking of replacing the dial only with one that has a lighter coloured lettering. Is this possible?
  2. A while ago, I purchased a PAM312 and a PAM359 with the newer P9000 movement from my trusted dealer. Both watches are exceptional quality and I am very pleased with my purchases. However, with the 312 O version, the lettering on the dial is darker from previous versions and for some reason does not appeal to me or suit my eye. My question is... is it possible to "swap" the dial with a gen (or close to Gen) dial that has lighter coloured lettering? If so, where woul be the best place to acquire such a dial? Many thanks and enjoy the Labour Day long weekend! Cheers Watch Guy
  3. Greekgod, I am not sure if it is possible to replace the dial, however, if so, I think that I would be "in". While the quality of the "o" series watch is outstanding, the darker coloured dial print and DW is less pleasing to my eye...
  4. Damn...I wish that my wrists were as big as all the guys in this thread! Lol
  5. Walden, i would recommend that you try Y Phung Watch Repair located at 2453 Yonge Street, Toronto Good luck....
  6. The spec strap is a good quality 24/22, however, as shown in my pictures above, I have replaced them with 24/24 straps from The Watch Boys.
  7. Well, after conducting a lot of research on line, I have discovered that the PAM O series actually has a darker coloured lettering on the dial face compared to previous series. What was confusing me even more, is the Panerai web site does not display the "O" series. The quality of the KW 312 and 359 is quite remarkable!
  8. Sorry for the poor quality pics. Very odd...the lettering looks fine in the pics, however, not in person...
  9. My KW 312 and 359 arrived from Andrew, so I thought that I would post some pics. Overall, the quality, look and feel is great for both watches. IMHO, the 359 is spectacular. The 312 is great, however, the only concern I have is the colour of the lettering on the face, which appears to be too dark, (almost Patina) compared to pics on the gen that I have seen on-line. Does anyone know how this compares to the gen? The only other issue I have is the "upside down" lettering on the movement for the "P9000". It still amazes me that that this is a mistake given they "replicated" the watch(s)...
  10. Not sure about the model that Puretime is offering. My watches are in transit and should arrive next week...
  11. Yes it is Greekgod. I ordered a 312 and a 359 from Andrew last week.
  12. I connected with Angus from Puretime and he is going to replace the dial. Thanks everyone!
  13. I hear you. I am just accustomed to the remarkably speedy responses from Andrew...
  14. I hope so. I have e-mailed his QC e-mail address found on his web site. Can you recommend another e-mail address?
  15. Indeed Jamesfl. Upon further inspection, the watch dial displays the flaws with the "2" and the "3" as you have indicated. Good observation!
  16. Thanks Jamesfl. I bought it from Puretime and I have put an e-mail into them, however no response yet.
  17. Thanks Panermaniac. I think that I will leave it be...
  18. How difficult would it be to switch the case with my 112, or am I better to take it to a repair shop?
  19. Yes I got it from a TD. When I compare it to my 112 the 111 dial is certainly less black
  20. Very interesting observation indywatchguy. Upon closer inspection! I think that you are possibly correct. The lettering on the dial seems off white and it could very well be a tobacco dial. Very bizarre! Any suggestions on where to get a correct dial? Many thanks
  21. May I ask what you mean by xtal effect? Sounds like I am screwed...
