  1. I agree. I think that it is just a reflection in the second pic, as the crystal is clear in the third pic. In any event, I have requested QC pics from yet another watch...
  2. Puretime sent me QC pics of a new watch, however, as you can see, there are still QC issues with the application of the blue paint in the words "Officine Panerai" on the caseback. The first pic is from the first defective watch and the latter pics from the second watch. Do experts agree? Many thanks, Watch Guy
  3. As it turns out, the dealer has a number of units in stock with defective case backs. Thank you for your observations, as I was focusing on other areas of the watch, particularly the CG. Thanks again Inertiadrifter!
  4. Hi All, After all the hype of the Noob PAM 111 V3, I decided to order one from Puretime. In your expert opinion(s), is there anything that I should be with concerned with before I approve the attached QC pics? Much appreciated! Watch Guy
  5. Projectologist, as an experiment, I swapped CG from my PAM 318, as it seemed to have more of the characteristics that you have described. Take a look. What do you think?
  6. Would it be a wise idea to get a Noob V3 and put the case back with serial number M0001 on it?
  7. Thanks guys and yes, the serial number is sweet! I enjoy this watch and find it to be quite acceptable in my eyes. I will keep looking for a Noob V3 with the intent of purchasing one some time in the future. Many thanks for the insights!
  8. I understand from reading various forums that the Noob PAM 111 V3 is "Best in Class" Attached are QC pics form my PAM 111 purchased from Andrew a while ago, plus pictures that I have taken on my BB. I would appreciate expert opinions on how this watch compares to the Noob V3 and is it worth upgrading? Much appreciated! Watch Guy
  9. Yes, I have the PAM 318, as well and it is sweet!
  10. I love the look of the PAM 359, however, I find that the patina lume is weak and no lume whatsoever on the hands. Has anyone had any success with re-luming and can anyone recommend an expert to do this in Toronto, Canada?
  11. Irreverent...Just all wrong...
  12. Bingo! As some advice, when you wind the watch, be careful that your thumb does not "rub off" off the black paint from the number 6. This happened to me and I had to re-paint it. Enjoy!
  13. Not sure of the origin, however, I got it from Andrew at Trusty...
  14. The black paint from the Number "6" appears to have worn off during the winding process. Has this happened to anyone else and does anyone know a quick fix? Much appreciated.
  15. My collection of Panerai on a variety of PreV Vintage straps from The Watch Boys, plus PAM359 in IS350, Enjoy, Watch Guy
  16. Go with a short strap from The Watch Boys!
  17. I have small wrists too. You can order a "small" from Kurt at The Watch Boys, which should fit perfectly.
  18. I have several Pannies and was wearing my 312 at a real estate convention recently. Several senior leasing guys were drooling while they gazed at my wrist and with comments such as "stunning watch" and "beautiful watch, however they never go on sale!". This is my favorite time piece.
