I too am like Dave, a Breitling guy. Most Rollies feel like kiddie watches on my wrist. I do love my Custom created DSSD. What a watch ! When I want a more low key approach, I wear my Modded LV But the DSSD is hands down the best.

No problem. I always like to see real life pics over the studio ones that the dealers give us.

I've had my eye on these watches for a few months. They first caught my attention in a few of the Youtube videos made by Jimmy ( Youtube seller). There are quite a few of them that I have come to like. Well, I figued I would pull the trigger on one of them, The Big Bang King. I knew going into it, that there would be a few inaccuracies. I really like the look and feel of the watch. The size is perfect for me. It's a shame some of the ones I relly like don't come this big. Well, here go the pics : I think my next one will be one of the Full Black Ceramics, or the Maradona edition. There are 5 that I would like to purchase in the next month.

My Graham Chronofighter is one the best reps I've owned. When you wear this watch, it will command people's attention !

Dave, I have a new one of these 6.75's heading my way, from the UK. I'll take a bunch of pics when I get it, and we can all dissect it. The person I got it from is very knowledgable, and tells me that there are noticeable updates. We shall see.

I have a GEN Pro Diver I and II. I like them both. Very comfortable and wear nicely. I would always say get a GEN item over a rep.

I can also source almost anything GEN.

Dave, I am aware of the one you describe. I had this watch in a GEN when it was first released. Divorce forced sale, and some years later , I'm chasing building a Franken Bentley Or I may just have to pass and buy a GEN again. Lol I was refrring to a "new" update. I too don't see much. I purchased 3 different 6.75's in the last 2 weeks. I'm going to be getting them soon and see which is best to start my project with. If you have any tips , pass them on

What are you doing with all those dials!? I have seen the cartel selling a new "updated" Ultimate Bentley 6.75 Is that what this is ? I'm curious if a GEN dial will swap right in.

Same applies to rubber straps. They curve better and easier thus giving a more comfortable feel.

Dave is right in many ways. But if you get yourself a GEN Croc or one of the many quality Breitling straps, you can pull it off.

Excellent choice in strap. People don't understand that you get what you pay for. Wear it proudly. Believe me, people will notice it.

It might fit better, but the REPs are not great quality. They have yet to make a truly accurate one.

You get what you pay for. Look around For Sale sections of the GEN forums. I picked up a PVD Deployant and a Pro II diver strap in 24mm for $535. That was an amazing deal. The deployant alone in PVD is close to $1k. The straps are over $350. You just need to shop around. A Mint OR with a Good condition deployant will cost you around $3-400. It's the price you pay for a quality product. I've had both. The rubbers aren't even on the same field of play. That's why you see people boiling them , etc. To soften them up.

I hope you guys realize this is what you are going to get from any trusted Cartel dealer. Just order from whom you feel comfortable dealing with.

I have had many a discussion with people about REP bracelets, straps accessories etc. I personally have noticed that the REP factories do a heck of a job on the watch, but in their attempt to maximize profit, give us some of the nastiest accesoriess seen to mankind. Some of the leather straps I have seen look like they were made from cat/dog/fecal matter all mixed together. I picked up a Depolyant on Ebay about a year or so ago. It was listed as a Genuine Breitling Product. I figured I would snatch it up because it was half price of what the local AD wanted. Well guess what folks, there was a reason ! :cop: So our subjects are your typical Breitling 20mm deployant. Looks very sharp with their high quality leather and rubber straps. I like it more than the buckles. On the left you will see the REP and right will be the GEN. Notice the Rasied logo and finer detail. Also there is a difference in the size of the logos REP GEN REP- Notice the different font and sizing on the word BREITLING, along with other wording GEN- The more Familiar BREITLING lettering that most of us know Side views REP- Notice exposed ends of bars GEN- The bars are not exposed. Smooth finish from the sides. One more comparison. GEN is the closest one in the picture In overall look, the REP is slightly longer by MM's . In the end it's up to you what you prefer to wear. The quality of both is not really comparable. The GEN snaps open a lot smoother. Hopefully this will keep you folks from buying a REP by mistake. Also, you get to see why GEN makers charge more for their accesories. Hope this helped some of you
