  1. Nothing is "impossible" to get, but some parts are a LOT harder than others. Sometimes it's all about being in the right place at the right time. Hands are very rare. Pushers are also hard to get. My SA has everything exterior GEN except for the caseback. But it took the help of a very secretive source to get some of the parts. If you swap the Bezel, Dial and datewheel, you'll be happier than a pig in sh-t. My Hyper Franken was taken to a level that I haven't seen anywhere yet. Once I get this GEN movement installed, it is done. But I would never do this again. Frankly, at some points you're just better off buying a GEN. For me, a lot of it is the satisfaction of the hunt ! Any jerkoff can go buy a GEN, but when you assemble a great Franken, there's a personal satisfaction that comes with it. :)

  2. I took a chance on this watch. I liked the unique look of it. Didn't know much about them, except that I had seen them at the local AD's a few times before. I member I know posted his up for sale as a catch and release, and I figured it was worth a shot to check it out. If I didn't like it, no harm no foul. Well, after having it for a little over a week, I have been pleasently surprised ! The weight of it is perfect. I am a fan of big watches, so this is right down my alley. The color combo on it is unique, and gives me a nice option from the usual color combos we see. In fact, I loved it so much that I wore it everyday this week ! The first question everyone asks is if the crown on the left side hits or bothers my arm. I have not had any problens with it, and I have an 8" wrist. If you're not into the bright color scheme, they have more toned down options too. All I can say is that I recommend it 100%. As a matter of fact, I'm going to look into getting a couple of more Grahams ! :)

  3. i was pretty sure your dial was gen, if not, i would have ordered one right now.

i would say that the rep SA with gen dials are so close to gen, that buying a gen is not really worth it.

i own a franken SA and a Gen Seawolf and built quality is almost equal. nobody around me could spot the rep vs gen.

    congrats on that beauty! :victory:

    Very true !!
