wow, you guys are right. Just looked at my buddies gen, can't see the LEC at all. I guess the easiest way to spot a rep is you see the crown at 6 lol. Okay, so how good is the insert and pearl on the TC LV? From what I understand the bezel is spot on, but not really getting anything in terms of the pear except for the it's good...

Yeah I know the LV doesn't have polished mid links. But I like the fact that it has a green bezel to off-set the watch as opposed to te very common black bezel of similar watches. Hmmm. Decisions. Is the bezel ad pearl on the LV at least accurate to te gen?

I was thinking of getting a Datejust and getting a gen dial on eBay. I thought about getting the non-LV. But I like to have a polished center link. Or a bezel that stands out. Already have an all black watch. How good is the insert pearl on the TC LV? It seems to be much harder and expensive to find a gen LV bezel. Hmmm, what to do?

I see. So the datejust with the engravings... How is the LEC on the rep crystals? Still too big? Also, what about the AR on the cyclops? Do all the gens have this? Lastly, you guys are saying if I have a datejust without the engravings than the gen would not have a LEC on the crystal? So which ones do you guys recommend? I want a roman numeral dial with an oyster bracelet. But the LEC is what's making me nervous.

Need some help fellas. I've been doing a lot of reading on this lately. Want to get my first Rolex rep and have been going between the TC LV Sub and a Datejust... Or perhaps both? I was going to go with a datejust to be safe since a lot of my buddies have gens... My question is... What's the story with the crystal on these? Is it supposed to have the same Laser etched crown at 6 like the Subs? That's my biggest issue on the subs the lack of the LEC or it being too big in other reps of the sub. People keep saying the reps of the Datejust are very accurate. But what about this laser crown? Or is there no LEC on the Datejusts? Would appreciate some help, thanks.

Yes, thank you already found those threads but I wasn't sure if there was a newer version released since that time... I don't understand why they don't rep this model accurately these days. The Maxi Marine Diver seems like a very popular watch and with different color variations I'm sure people would buy more than one!

I have never been as excited about a watch until I saw an acquaintance with one today. It was beautiful and I couldn't recognize it so I approached him and it turned out to be a Ulysse Nardin Maxi Marine! Barely even heard of this brand just maybe once or twice. Absolutely stunning piece. I am surprised we don't talk about it more here... So I went to Andrews site and there seems to be one that was based on a dissection of a gen. But I know nothing about these. Can you guys point me in the right direction? Which model is truly most accurate to the gen? I did a search for "Ulysse Nardin" and opened threads all the way back to 2010. But not sure if that model rep was around back then.. Thought, comments? Really appreciate your help guys.

Guys so what's the final word between the noob vs. h-factory? I did a bunch of searching and really couldn't find any definitive threads except for the fact that H-factory uses real Superlume and Noob factory doesn't but that the noob factory has the high-beat movement... Are there any other differences? Is the H-Factory the most visually accurate? I'm thinking if it is I could just throw in a highbeat movement (Stelita?) Would appreciate some help

I had a nice Alligator strap made by him several years back and am ready for another. However, I can't seem to find him anywhere. Is he out of business? If so, can you guys recommend an excellent strap maker who could make a nice Glossy Alligator strap? I am looking for Honey in color most similar to the OEM Honey Alligator. Thanks.

Question for you strap experts. Which strap comes closest to the OEM Honey Croc strap? I saw one in pics and fell in love with it. But I can't tell which is comparable? TWB Alligator? The lighting is different so I can't really tell. Thanks

Hey guys, need some help. I've had a BCE V3 that I purchased several years ago. It is in great shape. Lately, I've had the urge to have one bling watch that I could wear occasionally... Can any of you guys recommend a place to get a diamond bezel for this? I was thinking of just getting some nice CZ stones set in the bezel as those would be hard to tell apart form the real thing. Can someone help me out with this please? Also, out of curiosity, will an aftermarket bezel fit on this watch?

Hi everyone, I really need your help as I got my 005k a few days ago which was working great and stopped today and I really need to have it working tonight. I took the case back off and then the bridges and noticed that one of the gears (small silver one) was just moving around loose inside.I was able to get to it by taking off a gold-plated gear but now I don't know where the silver gear actually goes! I searched on here and couldn't find anything about servicing an Asian 6497-1 that could help me. I am attaching pictures of what I see here. I really hope that you guys could help me with this.

I quickly opened the case back took off the bridges and notices that one of the gears (small silver one) was loose and rattling around inside. Yeah, seems like they are out of stock everywhere. Sucks. Really wanted to have it by April. I hope that they actually have them in stock next month.

Hey guys, So I have been out of the game for a while and last month was thrilled to see a fantastic rep of the 005 finally. I ordered one right away and was told by Josh that evryone was out of stock until March 13th or so... Well I have no heard from him and decided to email him. He told me today that he is still out of stock and a new shipment is now delayed for another month. Anyone know what's up with this and if in fact no dealer has them any more? I was really disappointed after waiting weeks after paying for it to arrive.
