 You had your choice of either the T19 or the standard top hat with cyclops.  Both are correct and look snazzy in their own way.

 

FWIW, I hate the rep top hat on my 1680 and plan to swap in the T19.

I learn something new every day on here, bespoke crystal service eh   and I agree Gen crystals make a hell of a difference 

Got to be the 127 mate, looks just perfect    and I love service T19 crystals too, I have them on most of my vintage rollies

Wearing this one for the last time........it's en route to its new owner, wearing my V5 Sub C too on the way.......feels way to weird having 2 watches on, not sure how Maradona does it 

Not sure I'd agree with the no strap Rolex look, this one is awesome imo and gets plenty of wrist time too

Looks like the dial has come adrift from the movement, how does it feel when you wind it ?

Open them up to move the pins closer to the case

Close them up to move the pins away from the case

Sage advice already given, done this quite a few times now with new end links   battle to get them done first time but great afterward

It's hard to give any more advice without any details but threads like this also pose another problem for the forum as new members think we all just bash a Noob without cause, not true at all and to be fair we are pretty laid back here
