I agree that certain forums seem to love a drama and beating up on Noobs is sometimes seen as a sport on them, thats why here is my home knitting club indeed how rude

I think you mean springbars cavi and yes mate if you have 20mm lug width on your watch you would need to order 20mm spring bars they come in differing size end though ie 1.8 / 2.0 ends on them for different watch brands there is lots of info around to help mate, which piece you trying to find some for?
-
Thanks for the advice guys I'm looking at them now
@ droptopman, ouch bet that hurt mate........all in a good cause though I suppose

I've used Look since the 1980's with good results. Look do different styles cleats, some that allow for some sideways twist in the knee which helps prevent damage if the cleats aren't set perfectly.
You should have the ball of your foot over the axial of the pedal - this is for general road use, if you want to develop more power then move your foot back a little on the pedal - max 5-8mm. This gives more leverage but is more fatiguing.
There are plenty of good clipless set-ups out there; I use Shimano off road and they also work very well.
Thanks mate I'll take a look, only thing that worries me is falling off at the first junction I come to

Some awesome set ups you guys have, Db that's a cracking bit of kit mate like the man said is there nothing you can't do ! Anyone have any tips for clip in shoe set ups for road use? My knees took a battering yesterday, my trainers were slipping about all over the place
-
Yeah with you on the social mate, ride with another couple guys at the weekends, have a great crack while we're out

Just started cycling a couple of weeks back and I've def caught the bug, bought myself a nice Chris Boardman hybrid road bike to start as I like to do a bit of off road cycling too, really enjoying it and get on the road every morning for a 10 mile run, sets me up for the day
Did my first event today, a 60 mile plus in the countryside around Cambridgeshire, absolutely knackered me out but loved it
Anyone else into it, if so tips would be appreciated guys
